Treating Chronic Illnesses
The fact is that this planet is covered with dangerous pathogens along with plants and organisms that have antimicrobial properties to which they are susceptible. The human body is designed to function safely and effectively within our environment by constantly seeking balance or homeostasis - both with our external environment and within our own bioterrain. So any successful treatment of chronic illness must include nutrients and other factors that promote the integrity of the bioterrain.
In treating chronic illnesses such as Lyme and/or Morgellons, reduction of infection load may be accomplished with any number of antimicrobials to which the pathogens targeted have no resistance. Targeting and reducing biofilm communities must therefore be an integral part of treatment strategy since this is a major factor contributing to resistance. This is a critical but often overlooked component of developing a successful treatment strategy. Effective management of biofilm requires a coordinated approach that compromises both primary and tertiary biofilm formation, thus exposing the targeted pathogens to whatever antimicrobials are being utilized (and to natural immunity).
As you all know, the Burgstiner Wellness Protocol does all of these things, and extremely well. My goal is to establish it as the premiere foundational bioterrain support system underlying various treatment protocols - whether natural or conventional.
