These past few days have been filled with changes. I'll try to run down the list of things that are happening which I know will lead to my recovery...

Its amazing how quickly this website has taken away a lot of my fear when it comes to this disease I thought I would die having. And Peter, you're right. I will no longer try to invent the wheel. I was still in panic mode and just wanted these painful fibers to go away.

Funny enough, what IS going away right now is my body hair. And as much as I would like to blame this on the Morgellons, in my heart, I know I'm the culprit . I have done so many toxic things to try to rid the painful bites I assumed were micro-tiny bird mites" from my skin...stuff like heavily-medicated pet shampoo, pure sulfur, pure tea tree oil, and then... the deodorant all over my body. I'm only sticking to the protocols I find on this website from here on out

I told my serving job that I could only work three days a week. And I had to call my other job at the bar to tell the head bartender that I could no longer work there. (This was emotional for me because they had me as barback and had just begun taking a chance on me as a bartender.) I really felt like I was letting everyone down. But I do want to get better. I'm fortunate both my manager at the restaurant and the head bartender at the bar are super compassionate human beings.

The bright spot of my day today was when I received a morning call from Mel. I had emailed Mel about the foundation, and had expected a reply in email, but this amazing guy took the time to call me, and had the patience to talk me through the protocol . I'm so impressed by his huge heart. No wonder so many people are getting better.

Last night I threw all my junk food out, and Mel's call today put me into overdrive. I swear, he should be a motivational speaker. Oh. Wait... he is. :)

After the call, I went to Trader Joe's and got as many things on the food list I could find. It was actually kind of fun. And it didn't cost me as much money as I expected. I forgot that eating healthily doesn't have to be insanely expensive.

My health goes in and out a lot from one minute to the next. It's so strange, I feel it trying to kick into gear. One of the things people compliment me on is my energy, so it's strange having achy bones and having a harder time moving around. My grandfather has complained about the pain of getting old. Not only do I have empathy, I'm experiencing it. I will beat this.

One thing that has been giving me some relief is the cayenne lemon water I learned from Kathy's conference call. It has also made the pricking sensations a little less painful.
