Thank you so much Shari and Peter!! You don't know how much your kind words mean to me. I know that there is no point in worrying so much. I actually used to be a lot worse. But, after some reflection, I realize how many ways M has made my life better (I never thought I would say that lol). I've gotten closer much closer to g-d, which has brought immense happiness to my life. At first I thought g-d hated me and that he was punishing me by giving me this, but I've learned that “For those to whom He loves, He afflicts..”

I look back and see that the way I lived my life when I was "healthy" was an embarrassment. Never able to feel gratitude for what I did have, always focusing on what I didn't. Always fearful of life, something bad happening, etc...Well one of the things that I've learned from finding religion is that if you are not serving g-d with joy, and constantly complaining about how "terrible" your life is, than g-d will really give you something to complain about. I look back at all the things that I used to think were problems before M, and now it's like a big joke. I couldn't care less. I just want to be healthy again, the health that I took for granted for so many years.

I've learned how amazing life is..the endless possibilities for joy, happiness, and beautiful experiences. They say that “For those to whom He loves, He afflicts..” and I think there is nothing more true. The way I was living before was completely toxic and he gave me M as a wake up call. As we thank g-d for blessings, we should also thank him for what we perceive as "bad" for, we may not think so at the time, but this too is good. I know that whatever happens, I will forever live a more appreciative life that is focused on serving g-d. Thanks again. I'll keep everyone in my prayers for a speedy recovery and that we should all go from strength to strength in all things that we do.
