Jeanne 8/22/2013 3:31:10 AM edit upload | Please, our 10 yr old is in so much pain and can no longer walk due to M's and Lyme. Does anyone know an MD that knows/treats BOTH M's and Lyme, preferably in the Northern California Area, or Bay Area? Due to the infestation we were left homeless and penniless. Im so distraught and in need of help in this matter. If anyone can offer up some names, we would so much appreciate it. Mel has my permission to give out my email in this regard. Thanks, Jeanne |

Since 2008 or thereabouts we have been aware that Morgellons almost always comes with at least one coinfection. Over these five years of discovery, we have found that many people who suffer from Morgellons also suffer with Lyme and/or MRSA and almost always have underlying fungal overgrowth issues. Furthermore, these coinfections typically precede or pave the way for Morgellons symptoms to begin. I learned about MMS in July of 2008 on a Lyme board of young progressive Lyme doctors in New England. At that time I set out to determine if this was the missing ingredient in my protocol. That certainly has proven to be the case. Once again I have to remind everyone of how lucky I was to have a compassionate and open minded doctor who monitored my blood work and made sure that I was not doing myself harm. She is and remains a rare breed. I am glad to see that you have decided to stick with the protocol, for as you can read throughout the history of our website, restoring the bioterrain is fundamental to overcoming all of these related challenges. Remember - Hope is only the beginning, and those who do not give up Hope get well. God Bless you all. Mel |

I think it is very rare if even possible to find a doctor who treats both M and Lyme, but my daughter has read that Lyme treatment can help M for some. This is why my daughter gets this type of info. I remain committed to the protocol of Mel's ; however I do feel I need a primary care doctor as I have not had one for quite some time. I am not advocating Lyme treatment unless tested for it, but I do believe there may be a correlation??? who knows for sure??? I hope this may be helpful to you. I am so sorry for what you are going through |
