Diana 1/19/2014 5:44:31 AM MST | Ellen, I read your post from 1/17/2013 , Again and again to sink in... Thank you for responding to my recent post..I am 65 and will be having another grandchild in June that May possibly be able to hug me..... Your life changes serve as a roadmap for me.. Especially in regard to food. The black bean burgers sound wonderful! Can an old brain be reformatted?? I think so! Writing can also be healing due to the isolation of this thing... Wishing you continued Health and much Happiness, Diana. P.s. I still want to do the testing for the fevers that come and go. Have been using the Kleen green and oils with healing going on....now to find the Ezekiel products in a small town! |
Ellen 1/17/2014 12:31:50 AM MST | Hi Diana and Shawn, I also had low vitamin D and high cholesterol. I think eating the protocol friendly foods and taking the supplements will help. When I first went to an infectious disease specialist, the skin on my neck and chest felt like sandpaper and I looked like a burn victim. He said the skin on my neck looked 20 years older than the rest of me. He also prescribed Ivermectin, Gabapentin and some very expensive cream for scabies. I took none of it. Instead, I used organic coconut oil on my face and neck and after showering used unscented mineral oil mixed with a couple of drops of Neem oil, tea tree oil or lavender oil. Within a month, my skin improved. Using the search engine on the forum will bring up lots of ideas for your skin. I can only say what worked for me. For new people, please don't get discouraged. Read everything on the forum pages and you will be better equipped to ask questions. I wish there was a short cut or a one page instruction manual. There isn't. This disease is complex and mysterious. We are the guinea pigs in this fight. But as someone who is cured, I hope you can trust me when I say there is hope! I am happy to coach new people needing individual contact, but I can't want it more than you do. Please be honest with yourself and others if you are not following the protocol. Without a strong commitment to the diet and lifestyle changes, it will be hard to make progress. I have said this before but it needs repeating - Do not be afraid to seek professional counseling to deal with the stress of this disease. It can be overwhelming to take care of the various aspects of healing. Ask for help from friends and family. This is temporary. You can pay people back when you are well again. Your full time job is to get better. I believe everyone can do this. Stay strong, Ellen |
