Good to see that you are alive and well and that you have found a Lyme Literate Doctor who is open to treating Morgellons patients.
Heavy metal toxicity is very common, especially with Morgellons sufferers, who harbor not only the residual burden of their own lifelong exposures, but also the cumulative burden of their parasitic guests.
Dealing with it is important, but as Scott (the better health guy) pointed out, can be quite challenging... both for the patient and the practitioner.
The Burgstiner Wellness Protocol is built around the fact that the efficient elimination of wastes and environmental toxins is just as foundational to vital health as is the absorption and assimilation of nutrients. A breakdown in either of those systems compromises both our quality and quantity of life.
For Morgellons patients, heavy metal toxicity can compound the problem of fungal overgrowth. Even if a person with a strong toxic burden of mercury takes a Spartan approach to their diet, they often find it very difficult to manage fungal infection because it can thrive on mercury vapors.
Those who are familiar with the Burgstiner Wellness Protocol know that we recently enhanced our Liver CS Plus formula (now encapsulated) by adding NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) to further improve its heavy metal binding properties, but it is not considered or intended to be an 'oral chelation' formula.
Greetings to you Deb; I trust that all is well with you and yours.
Best Wishes,
John B
