Never could I have imagined when I started this website that in the last month of our third year we would have 13,000 visitors, or that I would be rotating 220-240 phone calls to various people on a five week rotation. This past Saturday I reviewed all 19 pages of the Forum looking at each topic's name and reading some again. It was a humbling reminder of how far we have come and how much we have learned. I ALSO REALIZED THAT FROM THE BEGINNING OF THIS JOURNEY TOGETHER, OUR GOALS AND OUR MESSAGE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE SAME. Six months into this journey I posted the following: (Our Goals Restated) Dated 9/4/2009 8:31:58 PM Before I restate MY goals for this web site, I would like to say: WE are All brothers and sisters in our fight to defeat this horrid disease Morgellons. I feel privileged to be able to try to help others get well as I have. As a community, we have discussed on many occasions the issue of environmental interventions; cleaning the house, bedding, clothes, personal hygiene, etc. I expect that sharing of helpful information in that area will continue to surface. In the future, we will be testing and researching topical treatments for the relief of lesions and other external symptoms related to Morgellons. When I started this website, it was with the hope of trying to help others who suffer with Morgellons get well based on information and a protocol that worked for me. It is more than ever my continuous goal: if I can help just one of you get well, it will have justified my being. GOD BLESS YOU ALL, Mel _____________________________________________________ As some of you know, I am returning from a few days of R&R and was not aware of the fact that I had not had a day off since October 17th. It was brought to my attention by those who love me the most that some R&R might be helpful as I was not being the best I can be. I really enjoyed my time away. It was good to slow down enough to breathe, to sit and think, to be still and listen. I was reminded of how blessed I am, of how my life has been enriched through the relationships that have been established here. I would not be here if I did not love my fellow man, and I cherish each and every one of you. That being said, it is time to move forward! What does that mean? We will be delving deeper into diet issues and adding many new recipes in upcoming weeks. We will be adding a new section for Newbies by a Newbie Our next Conference Call will be on the subject of children and Morgellons. As always, I will endeavor to do a better job of serving you. Your efforts to help as many people as possible have grown this community of God driven souls beyond expectation. The beautiful landscapes you have generated uplift and bring hope. The search engine you have refined allows many to gather important information easily in the midst of brain fog. The testimonials illustrate that this disease has a story behind it for every person afflicted. The conference calls provide the human touch and give us even more connectedness.
