10/20/2014 9:19:49 AM | Oh it's been too long! Hello everyone! As you can see, I took a step back from posting just because I needed to take a month off to really REST and focus! I have been feeling quite fatigued lately and needed some time to myself just to think and really let some time pass so I can gauge my healing. I haven't been doing bad at all, I have no new symptoms of anything like that but I have been going through quite a bit of herxing. The herx is just a lot of fatigue and sleeping, my bones have been aching and I've had some nausea and headaches. So I've been sleeping the month away and I'm not afraid to admit that. I'm slowly starting to get some energy back though. In between resting, I have indee been looking for a job for when my energy levels come back! And I do feel them coming back. The brain fog has been lifted completely all month, so no more memory loss! No eye or eyebrow problems and oh my, my skin is starting to clean up really nice. It's not perfect but the lesions are really really clearing up from my face and my skin is starting to have a decent glow to it as it did before the M! I have been mostly sticking to an all juice diet, at least two limes and a lemon a day in distilled water. Please remember, I feel as if I am getting well so fast and making HUGE progress because I have never cheated on my strict anti candida diet and I am honest with myself! I have found raw apricot kernels, 6-12 a day to be very very helpful. I have also found mung bean pasta with nothing in it but mung beans and water, there's is also raw black bean pasta at my health food store as well. I was intolerant of most squash, and even eggplant in the beginning so this is a great and better alternative to pasta to me. It cooks like Asian like pasta, gmo free and it's absolutely fantastic. You can look in our diet section to add sauces to it. ;) Remember, I ate a lot in the beginning to curve those sugar cravings but still never gave into the sugar cravings! What helped me were the sunbutter/almond butter cookies and any sort of sweet treat in the recipes section... a lot of candied almonds and such. Trust me, just always keep a batch of our protocol treats on hand and you will have no reason to cheat! Cauliflower rice helped keep me sane as well. Between the omelets, tahini, avocados, sunbutter, salads, almonds, veggies, curries, and all of the food I am so happy and healthy with were my diet is. I am on point. I mentioned in our conference call the importance of not putting anything synthetic or harmful to our bodies. This includes makeup, cosmetics, hairsprays, mouse, and even perfumes. It's hard for me... very hard. I am so used to caking on the makeup and dying my hair and putting it up with hairspray. No more for me until I am cured and it will not harm my body! I believe this is only temporary, and if it means not wearing makeup for another year or until I am comfortable with it then so be it. All natural is the way to go. I've lost some weight... I look better but still have a huge pouchy stomach. On some days when I go for job interviews I even blow dry and flat iron my hair just to look decent. I do still slick it back with coconut oil and tea tree the second I get home, as well as using the mineral soap every time after I shower daily which I LOVE! My skin has almost completely stopped purging, and my scalp is still a huge issue. I am working on my scalp though, slow and steady. I am midway through month 7 and can not wait to start month 8, for that is when I believe blueberries and maybe some black berries maybe hitting my tummy if I am lucky, heck maybe even some quinoa. I do have some funny stories to tell you guys, but that will be in my next post. For now, I am focusing on cleaning my environment, the supplements, resting, eating, and finding a job to get the heck out of my parent's messy house! I will get out of here with my own cheap clean care and my own little clean apartment. It's a goal, and it's a SLOW and STEADY goal to help me get better. Blessings to all and please keep on smiling! I know it's hard, sometimes it is for me too, but time does pass and as long as we do what we are supposed to, we will all be happier than we have ever been! (and healthier!) |
