Well hello everyone and HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I'd like to share with everyone that this holiday I have been shedding a LOT of tears, not because I am sad or scared or sick or anything like that, but because I am so thankful and happy to be alive and have the support of so many people and have been helped by each and every one of you on here in restoring my health a little bit at a time. This thanksgiving I was so THANKFUL to be living a somewhat normal lifestyle and feeling quite human, and this christmas I was ecstatic to be waking up to my little brother unwrapping gifts, as well as I, and not being afraid to receive some new clothing that people have given me for gifts. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd want to go shopping or receive new clothes again, but alas those days are over!
I was thankful that my family (though they made fun of me and said I wasn't normal) went out of their way to buy me so protocol approved foods for christmas dinner and I ate quite lavish meals that I cooked myself for both thanksgiving and christmas as they ate their usual foods. I think I ate more than everyone at the table and felt like I wouldn't be able to move for a few days, oops! The food I made was that yummy. :)
I've been out of work for ten days since I broke my ankle. I guess all of the resting and lazing around that I did in my recovery made my bones a little bit fragile, I'm not quite sure how I broke my ankle. I woke up one day and it was swollen. Of course, me being me and saying "never give up!" I kept working on the ankle until they suggested I HAD to go see a doctor because I was limping a lot. Turns out I somehow broke my ankle in three places. So, I stayed out of work and off of the ankle for ten days and I go back tomorrow. I've been eating a lot of foods high in calcium and iron, of course our diet is already well rounded so sticking to my usual protocol planned meals has been helping me heal faster than the average person. Gotta love having a great immune system again, feels very empowering when you know how to heal yourself safely and really fast. I also added pure aloe vera juice to my veggie/fruit juice (I have a juicer that I use daily) twice a day. Aloe vera is great for any sort of bone injury and healing topically as well as internally. Ginger as well. ;)
I'm still washing my clothes and blankets in MMS but I don't have to wash my blankets daily now. Every other day or every 3 days works. Noticing less itching all around, I barely get the itchy crawlies... EVER! I don't really purge but if I do it's once a day (if that) and it's barely noticeable.
I went out to dinner with someone since I have been meeting new people and friends. It was a big feat for me to be able to go out and sit at a restaurant and not freak out over if Im going to have a reaction or not or what is in the food, and just have a normal, social, night out. Of course I ordered a greek salad, told them I'm a vegan so skip the cheese, and had olive oil with italian seasoning as the dressing. I was so proud of myself but didn't want to tell my new friend that I haven't had a night out to eat in about a year, lol. I went outside of the restaurant and ended up calling my mom and telling her about it so I did kind of have a little "hooray" with someone else who has known my struggle.
I've been spending time with friends and family lately, and I've been busy trying to save money to move out.
Still juicing daily, showering daily, taking the logos supplements daily, laundry, cleaning. And most of all, still seeing some HEALING happen daily!
A happy birthday to Mel, I know I'm late, I'm also a bit late on the holiday message. But THANK YOU MEL for helping me restore my health, and giving me my life back! Without you none of this would have been possible and so many people, like myself, would still be in the dark and so scared. You are the man with the plan, a lifesaver, the captain leading the way. I owe you so much... including gathering the recipes for this site which I am currently working on now. ;) Haha.
Once again, thanks everyone for the support and your posts, it's what keeps me going when I want to let out a good scream or I just get stressed. I come here and read over your posts, whether its a support post or a post that I can see where healing has taken place, and it reminds me of how I know my future will be even brighter than it is now. All it takes it time, diligence, and patience. Going into my tenth month on the protocol around this time, let's see what this month brings, shall we? :)
