Greetings world,
I hope you're all thinking positively and seeing some healing happen not only with your body, but in your life as well. I know I have. The emotional struggles have been a battle for me, between my family, the isolation, my thoughts of wanting to be better soon, and missing my old way of life. I'm having a lot more ups than downs I realized though. Out of all of the struggles, I've recognized the importance and grown closer to my brothers. I have shut a lot of people out, but it's not such a bad thing when you want to keep your life "clear" and step back to look at yourself and what's important. The isolation helps me stay focused and really explore who I am instead of exploring other people. Wanting to be better as soon as possible drives me every single day to stick it out and push forward one day at a time. I have so much to look forward to. Between going to school to be a nurse, finally getting that job so I can be out of my environment and making decent money as a nurse, and one day feeling so free of my worries like M and money and family. So exciting, but so challenging.
I just lit some sage with cedar and fanned it all through the house since it does help cleanse the environment and I feel like this house needs some spiritual healing as well. Hopefully it will quiet some things down.
A note I'd like to add is my after shower regime. I've been mixing my coconut oil with tea tree, as usual. But I've also been adding witch hazel to the coconut oil, along with peppermint. It does create a bit of a chill over your whole body and in your hair, but boy does it relieve the itching. It's been helping me a lot.
I've been going out here and there just with my brothers. To the zoo, hiking, fishing, things like that. I'm keeping a bit hidden from my friends and the "real" world still, I'm just not ready for it yet. My body and mind will know when I'm able to be functioning. Right now it's saying rest, eat, research, find inner happiness, get better.
I haven't felt fearful or scared at all for these past few months. There are times where I look in the mirror and I do miss looking like me, then I remind myself of how that is an important goal to set and to take it one day at a time, and I know I will see results.
You must believe in yourself, you must love yourself. Loving yourself is the biggest challenge of this for me. This is such a cleansing of my mind and how I look at things and view life, and myself. I'm working on it. I'll get there.
We all will, have faith in yourself. Love the earth and listen to the signs of earth, nature, God, and in due time you will see results if you pay attention and follow. I promise.
As for my purging: It is slowing down, a little bit. Bit by bit, still have fungal hairs that cycle and black dots. My face is still the same, swollen and red with pimpling. I don't have lesions anywhere else or papercut scratches anymore, just what looks like ugly acne on my face that won't budge. Also, I've lost my eyelashes because of some sort of purging they have been doing? I hope they grow back. I think they will, thicker and more full than before I abused them and smacked on all of that mascara. My scalp is still a huge issue, it doesn't itch. Just dead fungal hairs that look like my hair come off on my hands after the shower.
I've been loving my dandelion root tea among my other teas and sticking to the diet. I dare say, I over eat a lot because my body is making me feel so hungry still trying to recover from my eating disorder. It craves the good fats from seeds and nuts and avocados, so I've been indulging in one of those with almond every meal. I've been putting kale and spinach in my unsweetened almond shakes lately, and sometimes I use unsweetened hemp milk too. Mmm.
Treat your body well, heal, and be happy!
That's all. :)
