8/19/2014 2:42:25 PM | That was soooo helpful Peter, thank you. God truly is granting me some healing power over here emotionally as well as physically, isn't that a HUGE blessing? Never would I have ever thought of such healing mentally. Oh haha, I would never go for cake or ice cream! I believe in my past post I mentioned that I have never faltered not even once in my diet with any sort of sugar or food that would make me go back on my healing. For that, I am pretty proud. I still even make my family cakes with normal sugar and flour, and it doesn't phase me to eat them or go for any such forbidden food! I always thought my OCD was such a bad thing, but I think in this case it has proved to make my healing and strict diet quite easy for me. ;) Never thought OCD could be such a great tool. Oh Justin and his birthday cake story, he knows very well and has informed me of the story multiple times. One of the things that has kept me keep on fighting though, just these multiple stories on here serve as reminders for what to do and what not to do. If I ever need to go out with friends or eat with family I always make sure I have something for me to grab and eat so I have no temptation to grab the other food right in front of me. Thank you for the tip on cutting out the dairy, I was thinking the probiotics could help heal my gut from all of the damage I have done to it with my eating disorder, but I think you may be correct about the mucus and digestion so I am going to cut it back out of my diet again and see how I feel. I have really damaged my gut, so everything is very slow and painful still. Eating, digestion, weight gain, bloating, constant hunger... drives me crazy. But since the recovery process my skin is looking better, energy levels have increased, thought process is clear, emotions are easier to deal with. So many great things to be thakful that I'm gaining back during this recovery. I hope you're doing well Peter, thanks so much for the advice. |
