5/11/2013 3:41:07 PM | I just counted the days that have passed since i started on the protocol, and now I'm at day 102 :). the improvements get noticeably greater from week to week, I actually went to bed one night and felt what it was like to be normal, which was surreal. Usually bed time is when i can notice my symptoms the worst. This week I run into the reprod. cycle, but it does not concern me as I can tell that it has diminished in severity from last cycle. I have spent my time tearing down bad habits and building new ones around my summer full-time work schedule, which was one of my goals before even getting M. Here are a few things I've been accomplishing: -Getting to bed earlier, aiming for 10pm, as the human body is naturally programmed to get its most optimal physically regenerative sleep between 10pm-2am, and its most optimal mentally regenerative sleep between 2am-6am. Also, I was always the kind of person who would fail to get to sleep early and sacrafice sleep when i had to get up early - something which i cant afford to do anymore. -drinking a tall warm glass of water with juice of a half of a lemon squeezed into it each morning. This is something with great health benefits that I was always told to do with track, you can google it if youre interested in its many benefits and how it works. -eating more organic vegetables, as well as more fresh herbs. I started doing this based on what other people on this site were saying about it, it seems to be helping quite a bit. I leave the herbs mainly to a big salad at lunchtime, as im not a huge fan of the taste but can bare to load them into one meal and still enjoy my food enough during the day :). I spoke with Mel for the first time the other week and he is a great man for sure. whenever I feel overwhelmed by everything and having to follow the rigid guidelines of the protocol, I remind myself of how tough it must have been for a man to do all of this while at the same time having to discover which guidelines to follow and experiment with which products to use along the way. take care, Wes |
