4:44:33 PM | I agree that having the althetic background and youth could be seen as an asset in this fight. I've learned through all of my years of training on the track that it's not just the work that you put in there that makes you successful, but also taking care of your body and mind outside of training. In terms of this disease, you could look at it as not only following the protocol, but also following the proper diet, getting adequate exercise and sleep, and keeping in the right frame of mind. As I was always told, and which always held true; if you don't believe that you can do it then you have already defeated yourself. |
