Hello!
Me and my husband have had morgellons for one year. I was in denial for a few months,
Then came to terms with it. I ordered all logos and a-z products around june. Diet
Has been my biggest battle because my family does not like the food I must
Eat. I back slid during the holidays and ate alot of bad stuff. I paid
The price, but I am back on protocol and feeling much better. I have
A wonderful relationship with the Lord and without it, I would be lost. This
Website has given me hope and I am so grateful! I don't itch anymore
But still have a long way to go, but I know I will get well. I am slowly getting
My husband on board and changing his diet.

Hi Tricia,

What an honest and humble post. I am so glad you are feeling better now. The holidays can be a brutal time for those of us on the protocol. Thanks for being open about your mistakes because by doing so you help others avoid the same, and encourage those who may also have failed recently to take a deep breath and start again.

We are all in this together, and truthfully, most of us have at least one story of giving into temptation and paying the price for it. We all know it's not worth it and I am so glad you've wisely seen that and moved on with renewed commitment.

As you stated, you've got a ways to go but having progressed to the point of no itching is a huge milestone. Congratulations! And I commend you for realizing that we are all lost without our Lord. It is only through the tender care and total support of the Lord that I have made it as far as I have (17 months and counting ;-) on the protocol. I unapologetically give Him all the glory and all the credit for my recovery so far.

My encouragement to you would be to continue to try new recipes from our diet section. You may discover some foods your family will tolerate, and yes... even like! ;-) . I did, and never thought I would. They now actually ask for certain meals and clamor for roasted vegies if we haven't had them for awhile! ;-) If that doesn't happen over time for your family, I know with the Lord's help you can find the strength to set the example in your home and go it alone with the food choices. Eventually they may join you, but if not you'll be getting healthier every day and what better example is that?

My prayers are with you for strength and courage for the battle ahead,

Deborah B.
