Hi Monique (Mo!)

Know that you're not alone in this. I can relate to the "germaphobe" comment. As I used to be very aware of possible bacterial infection & not wanting to get filthy (as a child).

I know from experience that the only way to really overcome this, is by desensitization (= repeated exposure to that which you are turned off by).

This does not mean you shouldn't be aware of what's going on, but it's more about accepting that it's there, and for now it's part of your life, but it does *not* have to rule your life.

It is very important to keep your mind off it by nurturing yourself in positive ways (by shifting focus on those things that make you happy).

It could be a certain type or flavour, scent, colour, or sound.

Engaging the senses is a very effective way of providing a balance for the overwhelming thoughts & emotions you're experiencing.

You could perhaps consider investing in a diffuser and some essential oils, or a facial steamer or a foot bath (if you haven't already).

Even the smell of MMS (when used for cleaning - e.g. floors) can greatly help encouraging a sense of cleanliness (and thus, help you feel somewhat relieved).

I believe you'd benefit greatly from creating a little "sacred" space in your home, where only *you* get to come.

You could use some scented candles/scented wax, incense sticks/incense powder/resin, scented satchets (if you like any of these).

The key is to engage the senses in order to get relief from the overwhelming thoughts.

Another way you could go about getting reief, is reserving a specific time of the day, to pamper your skin (e.g. apply a colourful scented scrub).

And do something similar for your hair (like apply a colourful scented paste to your scalp and hair).

You could either choose to purchase the above, or make your own from scratch.

I hope this is of some help to you (I know it was for me!).

Do let us know how that parasite cleanse is working for you.

I wish you well for now.

Hang in there!
