Mr. Common Sense
10/13/2010 9:44:42 PM | Yes, I am a man and my wife and I went through the same thing, she thought if I'd get off the internet it would go away, I'd be willing to talk to your husband, not surfing scary sites with wild conspiracy ideas about Morgellons is good advice. However, Morgellons is a very real condition and you need to go after it.
Let me know if you want me to try to speak with your husband, it would be more on advice for how you two should deal with it as to not destroy your marriage, it has happened to more than you care to know about. I decided at one point to suffer in silence, and not speak to my wife about it, of course, we have children too, it was terrible at one point, now I'm better.
Here are some articles on the suffering aspect you may relate to

Two Years of Pure Hell, One Year of Recovery, All Worth It http://morgellonspgpr.wordpress.com/2010/04/21/two-years-of-pure-hell-one-year-of-recovery-all-worth-it/
Hang in there, you can make it. Don't try to prove to your husband you have it, just begin to take steps to eliminate it. If I hadn't gone through it myself, I would have found it hard to believe myself, but trust me, we know the horror, you're not alone and you're going to be okay, half of the battle is in the mind, start there, refuse to panic, refuse to let scary thoughts about what this might be enter in, begin working on your health, and finally, protect your marriage, you'll be so glad you did when this is all over, and you'll make it. |
