In one of my prior posts under Auntie M's I mentioned that I was going to use Autnie M's Dr. However since I was directed to ACAM website after calling Dr. Winkler's office, I found a Dr. in my town of Fremont, 8 blocks from my house that sounded like a good possibility.
Besides I needed a new G/P since the one I was using said I was delusional when I told her I had lice that embeded in my scalp.

Another reason influencing my decision was that I feel we needed to have more doctors who would be willing to treat this horrific disease. If the Dr. didn't work out then I already had an appointment set up with Auntie M's Dr. three days later.

Pulling up her website, I liked what I read. She is an MD who specializes in women's health issues (she also treats men because they came and went when I was there). Geratrics, Homeopathy, thyroid diseases, Naturopathetic, Hydrogen Peroxide Therapy and chelation. When I read that she left a clinic of Drs. because she wanted to practice in her own way, I figured this Dr. has guts!! She left a nice central location downtown where the hospitals and medical services are to go on the outskirts of town but she is right by a pharmacy.

When I booked my appt. I told them I had lice which I figured progressed to Morellons. I went in armed with the MRF article, Journal of Medical case redports, Mel and Mr. C/S's protocol, Pam's test results and some other materials along with listing of websites she could pull up to find out more about Morgie!!

Glad I went prepared for she said that she did not know anything about Morgellon but was willing to take me on. I did give her the names of Dr. Winkler, Dr. Zamboni and Trisha Springstead, RN. What was encourageing was that when I gave her all the papers, she said 'I have tomorrow off so I can read up on it!! I did ask her about possibily putting her name out on the forum and she said maybe after she reads up on it and learns something about Morgellons.

When I asked her for Bactrim and Limbrel she said that she had good results with bactrim killing lice for her patients. She also knows about the use of silver so that is a good start. She did give me the two perscriptions but when I went to CVS they did not have it in sock so have to order it.

As for the tests, we ran out of time, but she did give me a complete blood test. Told me that when I come back she will order the rest of the test.

So hopefully we will have another Dr. avilable in the South/East Bay area. She also takes Medicare. Linda

An extended comment on the FYI. on Dr. Winkler.
for those who called,we who are already in there are blessed.I was told he has a large cancer patient load and to add new patients at this time is impossible for him.
Maybe he will get some new docs on board as great as he is some day, hey?

Blessings to you all and BIG hugs and joy all over the place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
