| Hi John, I know this may sound like a stupid question, but I am going to ask it anyhow. How or where do we get the 'good' bacteria/flora in our bodies naturally? I am taking the probiotics, but I was wondering if we could enhance this process. I am starting to think that maybe more than our immune system being comprimised, that this disease is more directly linked to the lack of good bacteria to fight this. Many people are exposed to Morgellons that don't get the disease. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

| Hi Deb2,
Your point is an excellent one. Beneficial flora are our front line defense, and probiotics are perhaps the most important of all supplements to take for restoring or maintaining good health.
Probiotics are most concentrated in fermented foods like yogurt or kefir, but typical commercial brands are so loaded with sugar that any health benefits are more than offset. The best way to get adequate numbers of probiotics into your diet is to take a supplement.
