Gigi22, There is an actual"bed" that incorporates a number of holistic modalities. It does accupuncture, massage, FIR, heat and something else(can't remember). I have only used it twice now, but I will let you know after awhile if it helps (along with everything else). I believe the company name is MIGUN.

Hi Deb!

I am not sure what you mean by the beds.. do you mean like the FIR sauna blankets? There are also FIR pads you can buy. I'm sure there is a benefit to having a FIR heating pad, but for detoxing, I think buying something FIR that can heat up to 130 degrees to make you sweat will have a bigger benefit. I was worried at first because I worried that the sweat would spread this on my body, but I feel like the positives outweighed the negatives. I feel very energized and my vision is clearer once I am done with a session..

I found a place where I can use the sauna unlimited times in a month for a set price. There is also a portable type of sauna I am thinking of purchasing to use at home since it is cheap enough. This sauna heats up high enough to induce sweating. I also considered a sauna blanket, which is like a sleeping bag you can sweat in, however, I read a review and people didn't like the fact you lay in your own sweat.. I think I will agree with them! This is what stopped me from buying one.

I hope this helps?

Hi Gigi22,
I have been looking into the FIR. I am very confused between the beds and the Sauna's. Do you know if one is better thanthe other? What the differenced are?
I would appreciate any insight.
thanks
