Hi Shari,
Welcome! I'm glad you posted and reached out! I can relate to your concerns after reading all the symptoms that some are or have dealt with. Their upbeat attitude of not giving up and even being able to joke, really impressed me when I first joined and was so scared. I don't know what lies in store for me in this journey back to health, but I really want my life back (just a healthier version) and I'm of the belief that I will get it back. A core member of this website titles their post "Living with this for a few Months" or something to that effect. That really puts it into perspective for me. It is just a few months out of our lives if we take it seriously and follow the protocol to the T. When or if you see any of the buggy stuff, a good mantra is "better out than in" because I definitely don't want this stuff inside of me. Who knows why we get this exactly, but I don't believe God controls us like puppets, and so I believe He does allows things to happen that aren't good (this isn't Heaven afterall), but, He does bring good from the bad so frequently, that I am always amazed. Also, I always have to remind myself that we can't hope to know His mind/plans and though it seems like a terrible trial, perhaps it has a very important purpose in your life that you have yet to realize. This may keep you from getting into a worse situation. Yes, there are worse situations or maybe this will help you to strengthen your faith in Him....so many possibilities. All I can do is trust that it is one of those. So, I hope your faith can sustain you through these trying times.

Also I just wanted to share that I'm laying low from friends too and just tell them I have been diagnosed with Lymes Disease, which is probably true, and that I have low energy, brain fog, skin crawling (this is also a symptom of Lymes)...and a special diet that my doctor (Mel) put me on so I can't enjoy going out and definitely can't have drinks with them anymore. They all understand that and are being supportive. A couple of my best friends know the actual condition and are very supportive. But, I was very selective about those 2 friends and knew they'd stick by me and not think I was crazy. One even had a past client that had M and so she already knew about it. The other had read about it in her constant health research.

I look forward to getting well with you and sharing support and ideas as needed! It is a successful treatment protocol and it will work, and it has numerous times.

Warmly, Mary
