10/27/2014 12:38:28 PM | Hi everyone! Hope you warriors and to-be warriors are all doing great! It's been awhile but I wanted to give an update. I cant believe I am ending week 6 beginning week 7! Whoa. Week 2 just began of my MMS, for giggles last night after reading a forum post, i took 3 drops last night instead of two. Slight headache today, but other than that I feel capable and functional today. I been reading a lot about others' purging. I am not sure what it is I should be looking for or even if I'm purging. For me, I'm seeing a lot less specks (black and white) than before, but also because I've sorta stopped looking for them. I do notice I need a lot less chamomile or melatonin to get sleep. Praise God most nights I can go to sleep and sleep through the whole night now. I still have burning/stinging here and there but the most prevalent, disgusting symptom which has not stopped yet, is the crawling. I HATE it!! There is something so utterly unnatural as the feeling of a foreign thing crawling on you all the time! Until that is gone I will not feel I am making any real headway with this illness and I must be still doing something wrong or eating wrong. I am trying diff food combos of the protocol diet to see exactly what the f is still causing the crawling?! It's killing me! As you can see from my Christian cursing- it angers me!! :( Praise report for God, John B, and Candida Rid through this disease; I turned down refined sugars for the first time in my life, EVER! Amazed I was able to stay away from all the junk food that a mom setout on the table for a Halloween party and invited me to have - it looked super delicious too! (more holidays coming eek!) but my healing will be more delicious!! Maintaining my mostly organic (budgeted 'dirty dozen' lists), no refined sugar, low to no carb, mostly "paleo"/vegan, no processed food diet is not easy at all - but I have been at it for about 3 weeks overall and realizing I've actually been eating this way on/off (with fruit) for the last year tho I have a lot of issues w consistency. I'm still on the protocol, though my pill timing is not always perfect. I am grateful to be keep checkin and learning from others on this site. I do wish I had a "coach" I could call though! Mentally and emotionally its been some good days and some bad days, but so far more good days than bad days! And sometimes I can even workout again - like yesterday! :) The challenging part in this recovery is to remain patient all through the crawling and keep the diet tight even when it seems like "what the f? The crawling will never end, so why stick to the diet and suffer for nothing?" "eat well =crawling." eat badly=crawling." My body/brain thinks "what's the point?" and I want to give up some days! The MMS laundry and the Kleen Greening cleaning also continue to remain a challenge because now I am trying to work to afford the protocol and make sure I have a place to live that's clean, safe AND now mildew/mold free after reading past posts. My fiancee just leaves his clothes around as if we are not sick or possibly spreading anything. He does not adhere to the plastic bag concept very much, but at least listens when I remind him and is trying to stick to "my diet". What is your most challenging part? If I can't clean or wash bedding/clothes though, or I touch him am I reinfecting myself daily?! Is he reinfecting us by not cleaning up too?! Is this possible?! Where can I get even more recipes? I have so many questions like this... I hope everyone has a wonderful week and know I am praying for you all! This week we can renew, or for newbies like me, begin our commitment to believe (thru Christs stripes) that WE WILL AND AND CAN beat this thing! However long. For continued inspiration I look to my online mentors I may never get to speak to: Twiggy, Mary, Justin, Gina, Peter, Ellen and Deb. Anyhow, God bless you all and thank you again to Mel for making all this possible to us having this forum and any of your continued prayers... Don't give up hope, right? Right! |
