1/7/2015 6:49:01 PM | Hi everyone! I hope you are all feeling great today! I started playing an old favorite video game called WoW and it’s helping me a lil bit. Since contracting this in July, I am now on week 16 of the protocol and week 12 of my MMS. I had gotten to 14-15 drops and had no bad reactions at those, however at 13 drops, and as I was going over symptoms with a mentor it was pointed out to me that I indeed got very sick one week. So after contacting Mel about MMS, I was told DO NOT JUMP AHEAD in drops! Scale it back to 12. So that's where I am now. Do not do it if you are tempted people. Or even if you have no symptoms at first, because you will and it’s not pretty. As for my current symptoms, at the advice of a friend I stopped eating any carbs in the morning and I have a little less crawling, but unfortunately, it is still there. I hate the crawling soo much! A new detox symptom is that I now have been experiencing a lot of hard stinging/burning feeling so I am hoping this means I am moving into yet more deepening detox. From what I have read here and heard from other warriors, I am and should be. I see myself really settling into "slow and steady" and "the sum of its parts". I am not perfect yet, not always getting my pills on time, not always even waking up on time, but I am not giving up or giving in or STOPPING the protocol. I still have had no refined sugars. I am now finally getting to a point where I am using the Stevia a little more and getting rid of the coconut manna. I began drinking water with lemon and cayenne pepper with stevia and added fresh green juices. I am trying to eat raw red onions and raw garlic. These things are all new for me. This is a good place to be. I will be here for a while and though I don't specifically know what the future holds in terms of where my body is going, I do believe 100% HEALING is in it! I am really proud of myself for jumping into a mostly raw diet when I knew what to eat, instead of stubbornly sticking to what got me here in the first place. I am reading a lot about building up the immune system and articles on the diet and nutrition. The diet section needs a little more raw foods, I would like to submit some to Mel. The conference calls always show the importance of diet in this. I am seeing that daily by listening in. I also just finished my Parabolish. It did not hurt me. Though I did not see anything "come out" it was not a painful experience and I will likely do it again at a deeper healing stage in a few months. I want to say God is amazing! He really is the true architect of the healing. He is also the architect of working on my character in this. I have had SOO many revelations this week which I posted on my own blog and also where I can have pictures. He is really opening my eyes through this illness and giving others "eyes to see" into my situation and my life and they are teaching me what God wants me to know for exactly the right time. His timing is perfect. The gift of salvation, his patience with us is more than enough to be thankful for, but I am also thankful for Him leading me to this site by Mel, Twiggy and Peter both of whom I feel I have much in common with. I was vulnerable, scared and yet honest with them and they were in turn kind, gentle and patient with me which I need. This must be how God sees each of us. I have not gone hungry being this sick! I am researching ways of saving money on food so I can afford protocol, but I am getting a slow but sure and good for me menu of meals together from the recipes section on the site and also googling recipes under "vegan", "raw", "paleo", and then the vegetable I have on hand that week. Here are 2 of the favorites if anyone wants to try this: Kale Pesto (Makes: 2 cups | Serving size: 1/4 cup) 1 large bunch kale, stems removed and coarsely chopped (about 8 cups) 2 cups fresh basil, loosely packed 1/2 cup pine nuts, toasted 1/4 cup olive oil 2 large cloves garlic salt and pepper to taste Directions: Blend in food processor. I am not sure but don't want to take any chances with brown rice, so I have been eating that pesto sauce 1-2 meals a week with Zucchini shreds/strips (from potato peeler) which is kind of like pasta (my favorite comfort food). Another lunch I added was this slaw (the healthier way) For the slaw: 3 heaping cups green cabbage, shredded 1 cup sunflower sprouts, chopped in half 1 cup broccoli sprouts, chopped into thirds 1 cup cilantro or radish sprouts 1/4 cup cilantro, minced (optional) For the dressing: 1/2 cup tahini (it IS delicious Twiggy!) 2 teaspoons turmeric, ground, or 2 tablespoons freshly grated turmeric 1 teaspoon ginger, ground, OR 2 tablespoons freshly grated ginger 1/4 cup water 3/4 teaspoon sea salt, or himalayan to taste 3 tablespoons lime juice Stevia to taste Emotionally though this has been a HARD week for me as my fiancée left me for a week to go to a funeral, and we had a fight, but hey, I am still alive, still choosing gratitude, still seeking Him and made it through this week by reaching out to others on this site. This has me gaining wisdom, tightening up my diet (this tweaking is not a fast process), and trying really really hard to think positive and (even harder for me) SPEAK positively WHILE IN TRIAL. By the grace of GOD I also have been humbled by the Word in learning of the power of the tongue, the power it has and how evil it can be. I have let my own tongue run wild many a time and I am now working on trying to tame it as best I can. He is def doing a work on me through this trial. Dare I say this illness is now partially a blessing? Keep me accountable, Tee, Peter, Twiggy and Mary! :) I will def have to write a post about this power of the tongue revelation and the power of my thoughts and attitudes toward this illness on my own blog later on tonight.. Mel has spoken to me recently about some of my postings attempts tones. This site is about HOPE and FAITH, relinquishing FEAR - which is not of God. I love the search engine and the conference calls and I am very grateful for them. Thank you to Mel, Peter and Twiggy for even taking the time to call me and speak to me. I am seeing and looking at the positive this week and witnessing this from others here, very very gratefully! I really love you guys! My go to scriptures for this week: James 3:8 says "But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison. But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. but no man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison." Romans 12:2 (NIV) "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." Matthew 6:25-34 (NIV) "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Well, back to the prepping my pill baggies and lunch today. If/when you have the energy that's the time to move and do things. When you don't, it’s ok. Just relax...slooooow and steady.... May God bless you all w peace, wisdom, strength and much comfort and healing this week, Your sister in Christ, Shari |
