11:21:41 AM | Suzanne, I should have added that the gel is only a temporary relief. However I feel that if I had found it when I first got it in July and used it instead of the mayonaise (tried that before the vaseline) that I would have killed it again on the spot. The gel acts like the vaseline, smoothes them.
But once it got into my whole system, there was no way I was going to get rid of it using the gel. So like I said the gel just slows them down and gives me relief.
Also should mention that I did see the white spider only once. I did dye my hair and washed the dye out in my kitchen sink and some of the critters must have ended up in the other basin (have double basin. After dying my hair I poured clorax in both sinks and about an hour later I saw the white spider. Figured it must have crawled back out of the drain. I killed it immediately I was so frightened.
It is too bad that I did not capture it alive for I have taken specimens to the enviromental health dept. Interesting thing is that he could not find a louse specimen in the group but he said there was a bug of some type but it's leg was to long to be a louse. He couldn't really make out what it was because again I smashed it some.
