Bill M 3/24/2014 6:19:13 PM MST | Hello Diana...for all of us who have this disease we can relate to the confusion and anxiety when you when you realize that you may have Morgellons. As Mel told me when I first contacted him: "Read, read, and then read some more"....this will let you know what you will have to do in order to be free of your symptoms. It will take some time and the worst time is for the first couple of months when your symptoms will seem overwhelming. BUT....if you make yourself totally committed and really discipline yourself will find that it gets easier as time goes on. As a community, please remember that we are here for you. God Bless, Bill M |
Peter 3/24/2014 3:44:27 PM MST | Hello Diana My name is Peter and I would also like to welcome you to this community. God has indeed brought you to the one web site that is bringing forth real healing for so many from the terror of MD. After 21 months on Mel's protocol myself, I am close to complete remission. Follow the suggestions of those who have responded for you here. You will never be alone here and you will find everything you need to know. You will be in my prayers. Godspeed, Peter |
eleanor 3/19/2014 5:33:58 PM MST | Hello Diana and welcome to the forum. Please read through as much as you can here there is some really good information and advice here. Unfortunately you are not imagining things or crazy, morgellons is complicated and little is known of how it works exactly or what it truly is, we can go around in endless circles trying to find answers. I have been on the protocol for almost 11 months now and I am nowhere near where I started I also have 2 young children with morgellons also on the protocol all 3 of us are doing so much better than we were before, our health is slowly but surely being restored. The protocol is half the key the other half is diet I urge you to strongly read up on it and start from there, in the early days before I was able to start the protocol I did the diet it helped take the crawling down to a more bearable level whereas before it was awful. If you find insects are more attracted to you, some things you could use as a natural insecticide are a few drops of tea tree, lavender or peppermint oils which can be mixed with petroleum jelly or olive oil and applied to your skin. I hope this will help. |
