Please keep Mel in your prayers as today is his shoulder surgery day. Although the surgical procedure itself is a relatively minor one by today's standards, the recovery is not.
Simply stated, he has a tough road to hoe, but only for a time. Mel recognizes this opportunity to once again be freed from the burden of constant pain, and he is embracing it eagerly.
Thanks again for your love, support, prayers and encouragement. As our captain Mel would say:
God Bless; Never give up Hope!
