I spoke with Mel tonight and he is home and resting. He had a rough time with the surgery (apparently his lungs collapsed), but the surgeon was pleased with the operation and Mel looks forward to a complete recovery.
Mel said that once again, the angel of death came knocking, but God said "Not yet... I still have work for this one".
Lets give him some time to rest, and soon he will be back and stronger than ever.
