linda 2/12/2015 5:03:08 AM MST | Shari, Thank you for kind words. I'm glad that you weren't hurt in your accident as well. I believe things happen for a reason but don't always know what it is. You are right in that God is amazing and sends certain people into our lives when we least expect it (such as this wonderful site and the people here who I love with all my heart). AS far as working, it isn't easy but I am raising a granddaughter and I am alone so it is out of necessity. Sometimes I feel like it helps me to get up and out and forget about the rest for a while every day. Thank you for your prayers and you are in mine as well. Blessings, Linda |
Shari 2/7/2015 12:41:19 AM MST | Linda, Wow! i am so sorry to hear of your accident?! I am glad you are both ok! I got into a car accident a couple weeks ago as well so I feel your pain. God used 2 men to show me not to be a man hater. I went over a divider, lost my new tire, it was 12:30am at night and pouring rain-- 2 men stopped to help me for an hour in the rain w my tire. That experience showed my jaded self that most men can be kind and that there really is still love in the world and loving people. The men were both believers in Christ. God is amazing! It's suuper encouraging to hear you are making progress and your life is getting back to "normal". Also, I am amazed you can work, I too have been contemplating going back to work to pay for protocol over the next 9-18 months. You work, do this and have a family. That is so encouraging and amazing. Were you ever able to find out about Lyme coinfection? How did that turn out? Praying for you and your family continued healing and comfort, Shari |
Linda 1/24/2015 7:36:39 AM MST | Hi, Oh my gosh, I can't believe it has been so long since I posted. Things are pretty much the same right now - I know I'm better and yet have quite a way to go. My brain fog is so much better, aches and pains, so much better. Skin so much better, except for my face - which is what I think is bringing me a little down. It is right there in plain sight. I still read everyone's postings but just haven't been able to post my own - like a mental block or something. I just want to say how grateful I am to everyone here, to Mel and to the Foundation and to God. We got into an accident this week. Just left work, picked up my little one at day care, it was dark and driving home about 1 mi. from my apt. we hit a deer. I was just saying at work that very afternoon how lucky I was for never having hit one in all the years I've been driving. I was able to stay calm and to calm my little one down as she was hysterical. I am grateful because we weren't hurt at all. Two really nice ladies, complete stranger stopped to help us. One brought us into her car because it was about 9 degrees out. She called my insurance company, the other called the police. My insurance company was soooo nice, the policeman was soooo nice. I saw something out of the corner of my eye and looked back in the road and the deer had gotten up and walked away and turned around and looked back at us like she was sorry. (I know I was just in shock lol) They towed my car away with over $5,000 in damages. But I am grateful because I know God was watching out for us. Anyway, long story, but what I just want to convey is I have so much to be grateful for and that night I just wanted to soak in an MMS bath, I was craving it. And if it weren't for Mel and his generosity it wouldn't have been possible as I had run out and am waiting for income tax returns to replenish. He sent me some and some silver. So, thank you Mel and the Foundation and all of you. Love and blessings to all Linda |
