Good job Auntie M. on the doctor advice- Brian and Susanne, You are a blessing to us all,it is always a circular blessing,when we help you,it strenthens us by filling our hearts with joy. Morgellons friendly Doctors are very important in your finding the support you need. I will help in any way I can and yes please feel free to email any time - pamela@morgellonsfocus.com One small suggestion,I started with the protocol and testing.If you focus on that it will give you great relief Suzanne. When you start strictly on the protocol here the body goes through a period of throwing off toxins(in the health world this is a good thing)we call that the Herxheimer response or Detox. Then when if you have the de-tox, herxheimer ,or cycle times (which we all did and expect as the layers peel away) please come back online and we can tell you what we did that was safe(such as janices breakout cream for sores)maybe mms baths . It is wonderful to have a grounded place such as this,so you don't have to see all the scarey stuff or maybe have someone telling you to do things to yourself that might hurt you. Mels protocol has been looked at and approved by his Dr. and also revisited by John b when adding natural things to help strengthen and heal the body. We can only share the safe things we did that are tried and true,we are not doctors so we do not prescribe. But we love you with much Agape(selfless love without any motives) and BIG hugs and will run with you along this path so that you don't feel alone. Auntie M 11/6/2009 10:01:47 PM | Pamela Mae has the names of doctors who will do medical consultations by phone with doctors who are willing to start treating patients. I'm not sure, but there may be consulting doctors on Pam's site. It took me awhile to find a doctor willing to do the treatment protocol on this site. She knew nothing about Morgellons and is learning. Mainly, she is willing to try to help me rather than tell me it is all in my head. I did not have lesions when I started seeing her. Now, I have obvious physical symptoms. What's difficult for some doctors is to agree to treat this if they do not understand the physical symptoms. This is why it's important for your girlfriend's doctor to agree to consult by phone with doctors treating this throughout the nation. Hope this helps. |
Brian 11/7/2009 3:26:21 AM | First I want to thank you all for the information. I have to admit, that I did not tell my girlfriend (Suzanne,is her name) that I was writing to anyone about this. I was just trying to find out as much as possible for myself so that I could help in anyway. After reading all the great responses I had to let her in on what I had done. She would also like to thank you all for your responses. She is not as computer savy as I am so I do most of the typing. I would like to tell you a little about how this all came about. Also she has been seeing a doctor at Dartmouth Hitchcock as we live in New Hampshire. For many years, the house we live in would flood down in the basement, usually in the spring. And, every spring we would go down and try and clean it all up. There was usually about an inch of water through the whole basement and it's a fairly big basement, so there was a lot of water. This is also where we keep the washer and dryer and there was a small room down there until recently but we have since removed it. We think this is where and when the problem started. I will also tell you (as I'm sure most of you know) it has taken its toll on our relationship but we have both come to terms with this and been much happier since. Any way about two years ago is when things started to kind of change, she started getting sores on her body and it got worse and worse and it turns out she had shingles. So now we have alot of fungi in the basement from the flooding and open wounds from her shingles and whala, this thing. She started to get very depressed and didnt want anyone to be around her (even me) for some time. She would isolate herself for weeks at a time. Most of her brothers ans sisters and even me at times thought maybe she was on drugs or something. It was horrible. Im kind of skipping alot because as most of you know it's really hard to understand what is going on through all of this. The fact of the matter is that although it's much worse on her the both of us are happier at least knowing what it is she is dealing with and there are other people out there dealing with the same thing, and are trying to beat this thing. Suzanne is very anxious to try some of formulas that you all have suggested and also has something to go to her doctor with as far as information, because it really seems like they are not really sure what direction to go either. Once again Suzanne and I would like to thank you all and I will be sure to have her or I let you know what the turn out is, and I will be checking in daily to learn more. Thanks Agian Brian |
