Thank you, Mel, for sharing your story. I can only imagine the frustration you have endured trying to fix a problem too many professionals would have told you was just in your head. Thank goodness for Dr. Zamboni- a doctor who is supportive even when she was unable to provide you the answers you needed is indeed a gem!

I find Morgellons incredibly fascinating for the simple reason that I cannot for the life of me understand how any half-way reasonable person can simply dismiss the fibers and contend that the condition is imagined... What an incredible sense of denial some of our medical professionals have!

I've been fighting to find answers for my daughter's condition (not Morgellon's) and mainstream doctors, mostly notably 'specialists,' I find are much too eager to label, prescribe, and send you on your way. (One so-called specialist told me 'that while not everything was known about what she thought was my daughter's condition, she was absolutely certain it was genetic, though there was no test to prove that.' WHAT?!? My feeling was that she was delusional- delusions of grandeur!)

Our answers, we are now finding with a naturopath and my daughter is healing through supplements. And, yes, it is costly- but, then, being unhealthy has a much higher price...

Anyway, I wanted to share a bit of information with you- I wish I had the original source... The research I came across in this past year said that an analysis of Morgellons fibers revealed that they were actually a mutation of sorts- somehow a rather unnatural hybridization of both a bacteria and a fungus.

In reading your website, I wondered if maybe you had come across this information, but also thought that perhaps it would explain why your protocol works...

Thanks again, Mel. Your story and willingness to share it make the world a better place.

Natural medicine is a wonderous thing.
As far as explaining how the protocol works, there are two posts that explain how I feel the healing process work for me.

After reading them, if you still have any question I will do my best to answer them.
