My apologies for going MIA for a couple months. My mom passed away in late May and then my phone (connection to the internet) quit working and I only now got a replacement. But now I am BACK my warrior friends!

I am on week 19 of raw foods diet, week 17 of protocol (16 on extension kit) and week 13 of MMS. Started having a rough time a month ago with fatigue and breathing and skin purging like mad. Thought it was 1st major herx, at 10 drops. Uh... no! That hit about 10 days later and I was the worst I've ever been, complete with fear and emotions and heightened activity, severe fatigue and diahrea. Talked with Peter and went off MMS for a few days. Started back on 10 drops MMS and held tight for a couple weeks. Holding at 11 to make sure not maxed out. I'm pretty small anyway and lost 18 lbs at beginning of treatment. I am back up 5.

I am sooooo much better this week, feel back to the 'normal' I was at before herx. It was rough and scary going thru that alone with no internet connection but I made it. I didn't drop off the forum on purpose. We all need each other's encouragement and stories. I'm thankful to be back. I will say tho that I understand why Justin ate the whole cake. LOL. The beast comes roaring back and makes you question everything you're doing, makes you want to eat bad things and poke your eye with a fork. Mel, the feeling of wanting to give up trickled in but I fought it with all I am worth and I am still here! I am fighting the good fight and I am winning.

I have some thoughts on foods we're allowed on this protocol. After surviving 4 months, I feel strongly that diet MUST be severely restricted for the first few months so you can start getting better faster. You may not like it but how else will you know what, for you, increases symptoms? You have to get to mostly symptom free and add back in things one at a time. I only recently started eating blueberries and brown rice pasta. I was scared of them before, didn't want to feed the beast. Somehow after the herx, that fear is gone. I question tho, are these things really okay for me or is it the temptation still saying 'Do it. Eat it. It's okay.' I guess my advice is to not go gung ho with the recipes in the beginning. Some things I still won't allow myself to have, not yet. My body will tell me when it's ready like it did with the pasta and blueberries. I do not want to jeopardize getting well.

Don't want to have too long of a post but wanted to check in. I will update more later. I've been asked to post my curry stir fry recipe that I cook every couple days. I will do so. I also made up an egg/macaroni salad the other day. One egg had two yolks. Haha! Twin chickens or siamese twins? It was sooooo good!

Happy to be back. Been reading up on all of you and glad you're doing well. Yah, it can't rain all the time can it? A precious warrior sister reminded me of that song a week or so ago when I was crying in despair over being broke. There's a reason I chose that song as my theme song. I would encourage ALL of you to take a listen on youtube to Jane Siberry 'Can't Rain All The Time.' It truly yanked me instantly out of my despair. Thank you Eleanor! I'm glad you like the song too, so uplifting and full of hope! Bless you all, we're in God's hands. Monique
