Amber,

I am so amazed by your strength and courage to lead your family through this very difficult affliction. You are a MIGHTY fine Captain!! I have this along with an 18 year old daughter, who is still doubting she has it, even with visible proof. My husband has seen pictures of the threads/fibers which I have taken with a digital microscope- but he is still doubting it as well. As you know, adversity will make you stronger and your children will be smarter, tougher, and yes ~ more sensitive to other people who are sick with other diseases. Out of something bad there's always good. Yes, sometimes it takes us awhile to be able see the positive things. I have become much closer to our Savior since this battle has begun. It sounds like they are all adjusting to the diet. I have found my own taste buds have changed tremendously since I have started the diet. I'm sure theirs have too!
Try to take some time to watch a movie and share some laughs with your kids! Like they say, "Laughter is the best Medicine"! I will remember you and your family nightly as I thank the Lord for what I do have.

I would appreciate prayers from anyone for my daughter to help her get on board my ship.

May he bless you all richly,
Dawn

Hi Dawn, thank you so much for your kind words :) I'm so sorry that your daughter is resistant,I know all too well how frustrating that can be. My husband actually started with symptoms first, mine were just so much worse once it started. It took a long time to really convince him we are all indeed infecteted with MD just to different degrees. I find that it really scares him to talk about it, so I try and help everyone the best I can without talking about it too much. Yes, we have become accustom to the diet, not without a struggle in the beginning though. I find now that our bodies don't crave the junk anymore. I try and make jokes about junk food and fast food about how nasty it is, now my little guy joins in with the jokes :) I too have strengthened my relationship with the lord, he is definitely guiding me through this journey, God is so good! I'm so happy that you are on your way back to health and leaning on our saviour for strength, you sound like a real warrior yourself! I know in my heart with time, that the lord will work on your daughter and husbands heart to gain her health back. I know how hard it is to see your child be sick, there is nothing more difficult. Hang in there and have faith that God will bring that to fruition. I will keep you and your daughter in my prayers. Hugs to you Dawn!!

Blessings,
Amber
