To all the Moms fighting for the health of their children this Mother's Day:

May each of you experience the calm and peace of a blessed day today and may each of you know that you are precious to God.

If you are tired of the work load and the struggle and feeling the burden is too heavy to bear, remember that the Lord said:

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28

You can come to Him, and lay those burdens at His feet.

If you have been abandoned or ridiculed by family, friends or physicians, then please remember that God never abandons those who look to Him. Think about these words from the Bible:

"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

Even if your own family forsakes you, He will not.

If you have moments when you doubt that you can finish the race and you fear for your children's future, please think on these words from the Lord:

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
Jeremiah 29:11-13

No matter how dark the future may sometimes seem, He envisions a bright future full of hope for you.

If you are tired of fighting your children over taking supplements and following the diet, and if they sometimes resist you and don't understand the importance of what you are trying to do, please remember that someday they will understand and know what it has personally cost you to do it.

Here is a passage from Proverbs 31, a chapter in the Bible that describes a Mother who was full of dignity, strength, and commitment. She had a sense of humor regarding her circumstances and never gave up when it came to her children . She deserved praise and eventually got it from her kids:

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed. . . “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Proverbs 31: 25-28a, 29

I want to give each of you amazing and noble warrior Moms a loud cheer and a standing ovation for what you have already accomplished, and for the
victories yet to come. I pray all of the best and the brightest blessings for each of you this Mother's Day!

Deborah,

Thank you for your Mother's Day message. It means more to me than you know. It could have been written to me but I know all the Moms out there will be blessed by it.

The diet is definitely a struggle but well worth every minute of it. Daily stress is hard and this added to it . . . I know that I am not on my knees enough.

So, thank you to all the warriors and bless you and your families each and every day.

Love,
Linda
