| I think I might have found two snack foods that meets our criteria for our diet? both are from Trader J's: Roasted Red Pepper and Artichoke tapenade which has roasten red peppers ( red peppers, citric acid), artichokes, onions, EVOO, garlic, salt distilled vinegar, black pepper, spices.
And, Olive Tapenade: black and green olives, canola/olive oil blend, fresh roasted garlic, capers, pimientos, mustard and spices.
So, these aren't items one would eat in large amounts. Maybe dip on Beanitos chips or celery. Would the small amounts of vinegar and canola oil be harmful?
Also, in general, what about Greek olives (kalamata type), and pickles that are made properly without vinegar, just salt/water and spices?
I know we avoid foods that have high fungal content(mycotoxins, sugar content, and acidic.
Just looking to add some variety as I'm already making my own mayo and hummus which is labor intensive (at least the mayo).
Warm Regards, Mary
