10/19/2014 7:34:31 PM | Hi Kim! I hope you are getting the answers you need. I am just ending week 5 on the protocol and began the MMS last night, Im not feeling good today at all so i am in bed reading the forums - scanning for nausea info. In a way, I have to agree with you, it would be A LOT easier if this protocol could include some fruit sugars but I have found out it cannot. I know now because I ate 3 bites (3 damn bites!) of my fiancees and almost immediately had the crawling. I hate reminding myself of this, (since this happened to us, I realized I am actually addicted to sugar) but NO SUGAR means just that- NONE AT ALL. I'm even beginning to question the stevia I'm using as a substitute in my body... I'm consuming a lot of stevia. :( I often say I would not prob "cheat" as I do periodically on these other sugars if only I could have at least a granny apple or blueberries or a strawberry etc., but its all the same sugar to the body and this and other bacteria and pathogens, I believe. Hence why also no other starches/carbs dairy etc. because ALL become sugar. Which is why I believe Teresa was right when she says in her post we must have no fruit at all at least for the first couple months. Sounds like you were kickin butt and taking names before- I know it is extremely hard going from feeling well and being healthy one day to suddenly being "sick", having to rely on others and loss of your normal way of function; and you may be tempted to keep doing what "works" right now, but long term you may not be helping yourself by holding on to fruit/sugar and the past you. I know I'm not. I felt awesome my first month on the protocol, I had energy, less foggy, and such buuuut the crawling and the bites have not stopped, tho I have stopped looking at and focusing on the specks; they are prob still there too. Starting MMS has not felt good at all today yet, but we must keep reminding ourselves we are in it for the long haul - not the short. The temp feelings are so difficult but as many 90% posters and Mel shows us here - they ARE TEMPORARY! I am sick today and really want to go to my friends bday party; he is a brother in Christ who i love I am almost 100% positive there will be tempting sugar-filled items there too. What will help me long term? We got to keep up the fight by putting down the sugar! Im learning that the apostle Paul was amazing at seeing the long haul and learning to how to excel giving up temporary pleasures. Check out the writings too if you can. Wisdom and inspiration for free. Praying you get comfort, peace, wisdom and strength today, Shari |
