Kim

I am both confused and somewhat disappointed by this post. Honestly, I believe you are being a bit disingenuous. We have all had our days when we feel overwhelmed, but this is not the best place to vent your frustration. While I applaud Mel’s willingness to publish posts that give insight into the difficulty of our struggles, I have seen too many lives restored to allow comments made in a moment of weakness to blur the reality that this protocol is changing lives.

In our recent phone conversation, you expressed complete confidence in this protocol. In April, you posted that you were experiencing days without stings and that you were excited and grateful. In that post, you also shared concerns about toxicity in your work environment arising from what you were seeing in your coworkers.
You also wrote in a recent post that you had eaten out in a restaurant with your daughter and that you believed that you both had gotten food poisoning. Food poisoning alone creates a major challenge for your immune system, not to mention the Morgellons pathogens that you are fighting.

You also posted that it has been a difficult month. You included your history with cold sores and how they arrive during periods of imbalance that you identify, including stress, not enough sleep, and possible acidic foods. Most recently, you shared with us that you had been diagnosed with Shingles. This should lead you to consider that, like me, you may have complicating factors due to a higher viral overload. And could the Valtex medication be producing side effects that otherwise hinder your progress?

As we have discussed, this is a long and challenging process. You have only been on the protocol for 7 months. You still have much work to do when you consider the established baseline for recovery is 18 months. With persistent organic pollutants (POP”s) ever increasing in the environment, the food, and the water, I am convinced that the baseline may even need to be extended, especially for people with compound coinfections or multiple health challenges.

I hope you remain committed and stay the course. Many people quit at a point in recovery when all that is needed is patience and some necessary corrections. You have come too far to turn back now.

Sincerely,

Peter
