5/11/2015 10:54:29 AM | I need some advice today and I know Mel is away so I can't ask him. I am sick in bed with what I think is a Herx reaction. Last week, I had reached 22 drops with no herx symptoms so Mel advised me to stop at this dose for three days and continue with a maintenance dose of 19 drops, as going past 22 drops would be of no value, so that's what I did and started back on my maintenance dose of 19 drops on Thursday. The only reaction I noticed from being back on MMS with a maintenance dose was I was extremely tired and kept falling asleep during the day which has never happened to me before while taking MMS. I just assumed it was because I had stopped the MMS for three days and now my body was catching up with the maintenance dose....or something like that. But at 3am this morning I woke up and ran to the toilet with the runs and vomiting, this has continued every hour up to now which it has subsided a bit. I could not make it to work today as I can't even stand up without feeling dizzy and nauseous. When I try to get up my ears start to ring like I am going to faint and my head pounds causing such a headache so I have to keep lying down. I cannot even stomach eating anything, so I am just laying in bed and sipping water while searching the forum for answers and typing on my laptop. From what I read and understood on the forum is that this might be the Herx reaction that people have experienced before or else I have food poisoning, as I am second guessing what is really happening to me, but if it was food poisoning my husband would have gotten sick too as we ate the same foods yesterday. My husband of course is not impressed with these reactions and feels what I am doing is dangerous, so this is not helping my case to convince him to go on the protocol and that MMS is safe. Unfortunately he had a contract job to do today so I am alone to figure this out. My dire question is do I stop taking the MMS again for three days and then reduce to another three drops to 16 for my new maintenance dose or do I just continue on with the 19 drops. Right now I have to figure out how to get the protocol and food into me for today as I have no energy or appetite and its challenging when I try stand up. I am hoping these symptoms stop soon. Could someone who has experienced a Herx reaction like this respond to me as it seriously feels like I have been poisoned? I did experience food poisoning about 30 years ago, and the symptoms were very similar and lasted 24 hours. |
