Here is the continuation of my story: A few days after the food poisoning incident,I discovered a cluster of blisters just below my breast bone. Just figuring it was part of Morgs or an irritation from my bra, I applied a bandage with MMS. The next day my lips swelled up like balloons with the all too familiar cold sore blisters that I have suffered from since childhood but this occurrence was a bad one....such a throbbing pain and covered my upper and lower lip. I have never been able pinpoint what activates these cold sores over the years, but they usually appear after I have been exposed to: colds, any virus, not enough sleep, stress, or too much sun, and sometimes too many acid foods but can't figure out which ones, but it always affects my immune system and causes these horrific cold sores. This time I believe the food poisoning incident activated the virus. I had read somewhere that putting ice on cold sores is a cure. So, I iced the sores for several hours which helped a lot and it took down the swelling. I also popped a few Valtrex that night which I always have on hand in an emergency to kill the pain. Then on Sunday morning I discovered two more clusters of blisters on my back right on the spine and they seemed to be spreading. They were painful but not itchy. It was like my cold sore virus had travelled to my body and it was a bit scary cause I know how quickly cold sores can spread if not treated. I decided to check it out with a doctor and also I needed more Valtex but I was shocked when this doctor diagnosed me with shingles. I didn't believe him so I got two more doctors opinions but they also diagnosed it as shingles. The good thing they said is that Valtrex I was taking for my cold sores was the same treatment for shingles, so they said that I caught it in time to stop it from spreading any further.....but I was still skeptical. So even though I am home healing til the blisters scab, I am still finding it hard to believe that I have shingles and not just morgs related sores. I don't feel sick at all, and the pain is now very minimal. Also, it never did spread and is isolated to three different areas on my body. I think the doctors just jumped to the conclusion cause two were on my back and that is a common area for shingles but they usually cover part of the body and mine do not...but I could be wrong. Also, my reason for not believing them is that my husband had the identical cluster of blisters on his legs two weeks ago that kept him awake at night from the burning and itching. Three separate doctors gave my husband 3 different diagnosis and not one said he had shingles even though his blisters looked identical to mine - the first doctor said he had flea bites from his dog (we don't have any pets) and gave him some fuicidin cream which made his blisters worse, the 2nd doctor said he had chemical burns and didn't prescribe him anything (I believe the so called chemical burn was probably caused from the fuicidin cream from the previous doctor) and the third doctor said he had infected Eczema and gave him some antibiotic cream and antibiotic pills to take which finally gave him some relief and did clear up the blisters and the itching so far! I also got my husband to take probiotics to counter the affects. It took him about a week to heal. Normally, my husband doesn't have faith in doctors and would never seek their help but he was very desperate and we had tried all the natural applications I could think of such as coconut oil, essential oils, MMS sprays and baths, Sovereign Silver Sprays, Sea salt soaks, De-briding soap, Neem lotion, Gold Bond medicated powder etc. but it would only give him temporary relief and the blisters were spreading despite our efforts. Anyways, we are both on the mend for now until the next morgs episode, which I understand will happen! I do believe these different symptoms are all toxins coming out of our body and who knows maybe when I am healed from all this with the help of the protocol, I may no longer suffer with cold sores for the duration of my lifetime, that would be such a blessing for me! The great news is that for the last three days, I have not been experiencing the normal stinging sensations that I usually have. My only concern now is that the Valtrex medication that I have to take for 7 days does not affect the protocols healing abilities and delay my healing time. It's funny cause I have never been a pill popper whether it be vitamins or pain pills and now it seems that is all I do every day lol!! Enjoy your weekend!! |
