Peter 6/18/2013 12:26:46 AM MST | Hello Folks I just wanted to remind you that Fluoride is, in my opinion, the greater concern in our water than are plastic bottles. As for plastic bottles, I would not recommend re-filling the plastic water bottles you buy. Drink the water and toss them in your recycle. Some water filters do not remove Fluoride. Make sure that if you are using a filter that it does remove Fluoride. Fluoride is poison! I drink purified or distilled water. A gallon a day! Always, Peter |
Nancy G 6/17/2013 6:09:56 PM MST | Lisa, I was just thinking today that I am so thirsty all the time too. I have heard and read that the plastics from the water bottles leach into our bodies and using plastic is not good, like storing food, etc. To have the water filter installed is going to help a ton! I use a Britta Pitcher with a water filter. It is good to see you coming along. I think you were like me for a while and having a set back and very hard time. I am doing a little better now. I will probably make a post on my thread about my progress soon. Nancy |
Nicole 6/16/2013 4:12:56 PM MST | Hey Lisa! I have also read about the plastic bottles leaching BPA's from the plastic, especially when in hot temperatures from my understanding.. I personally haven't had the finance available to upgrade to a water filtration system.. I would like to have one:) I really want to get one of those water dispenser thingys w/ like a 5 gallon jug to refil they have 'em at Menards or Home Depot. Honestly Lis.. I do my best ,but I just buy purified water bottles & refrigerate. I feel like if I keep 'em cold its better, with the whole BPA thing .. and it has to be better then tap water sooo ... Anywhoo.. thats all I got on that :)) Love ya warrior lady! Yours In Spirit, Nicole |
