Nancy G 6/17/2013 6:09:56 PM MST | Lisa, I was just thinking today that I am so thirsty all the time too. I have heard and read that the plastics from the water bottles leach into our bodies and using plastic is not good, like storing food, etc. To have the water filter installed is going to help a ton! I use a Britta Pitcher with a water filter. It is good to see you coming along. I think you were like me for a while and having a set back and very hard time. I am doing a little better now. I will probably make a post on my thread about my progress soon. Nancy |
Nicole 6/16/2013 4:12:56 PM MST | Hey Lisa! I have also read about the plastic bottles leaching BPA's from the plastic, especially when in hot temperatures from my understanding.. I personally haven't had the finance available to upgrade to a water filtration system.. I would like to have one:) I really want to get one of those water dispenser thingys w/ like a 5 gallon jug to refil they have 'em at Menards or Home Depot. Honestly Lis.. I do my best ,but I just buy purified water bottles & refrigerate. I feel like if I keep 'em cold its better, with the whole BPA thing .. and it has to be better then tap water sooo ... Anywhoo.. thats all I got on that :)) Love ya warrior lady! Yours In Spirit, Nicole |
TorpedoLynn 6/16/2013 3:53:18 PM MST | Hi Lisa I have always tried to filter my water via store bought pitchers or faucet attachments. Now a refrigerator. I too worry about the plastic in anything. Not just the bottled water, but the lines in the filters. Not only about the poisons from the plastic but makes for a breeding ground for bacteria. If I was not so crippled up I would seriously consider boiling water in stainless steel pot and cool it and filter it through a filter. Also some of water company add fluoride. That is a different nightmare all together. In Light Lynn/TorpedoLynn |
