Kim Schierer 9/17/2009 2:36:30 PM | I have had morgellons for over a year now and went thru a huge loss from trying to recover from bird mite infestation. I had quit my job to do home day care before the infestation and morgellons and had bought a new more expensive house before all this. I ended up not being able to do homeday care and so I was out of work for awhile. We spent or lost about $20,000- ripping out our carpet and throwing out furniture and everything to get our place uninfested from mites- which did work, we had tried everything else which didn't work. I had to have emergency surgery also for a hemrrohaging cyst on my ovary and well we just can't afford the things we need to get better. My daughter also had to have surgery so we are paying medical bills. My husband is also sick with morgellons. I did get my job back so I am grateful but we can barely pay our mortgage and bills monthy, let alone have money for supplements. We did try to sell our house for 8 months with no luck. Sorry to go on and on but my question is what do you do then to get well? We use DE food grade and baking soda twice a day- that we found is not too expensive. We have used Trisha Springstead's new hope 2 soap when we can which seems to help. Can you tell me if there is something that I should be doing or taking that is most important atleast to start the healing that is not too expensive. |

Susanne 10/29/2009 6:45:28 AM | Hi Auntie M, I was wondering if the results ever came back from the tests you mentioned above. ? pls Let us know:) if you already have & I missed it, forgive me. everybody - This is great news and am happy for you guys that you are finding doctors who recognize and treat for morgellons!! As prevalent as this disease is in MY area, (So. Florida) I find it hard to believe that the doctors here are so oblivious to it. I've had to be my own doctor, as there as just no doctors here to support this. I am trying to find more people in the So Florida area that share this dilemma, so that we could be a team and unite, results come in numbers. If anyone on here is from Florida, you may write me at letsbwell@gmail.com thanks a lot Susanne p.s. auntie m, I cant believe our emails are so similar, funny |
Auntie M 10/1/2009 5:45:40 PM | Lin, Feel free to contact me through email (mine is bwell94556@yahoo.com) and we'll connect by phone, if you like. I am seeing a naturopathic physician who is the physician's assistant for and M.D. in Berkeley. Though she is running diagnostic lab tests on me and she has heard of Morgellons, I don't know that she has treated anyone with it before. I will be seeing the M.D. for the results of my lab tests in a few weeks. Again, I don't know what he thinks of Morgellons either. What was important for me was the naturapathic doctor's willingness to immediately run stool and blood tests based on what I told her in the first appointment. I am grateful for the continued posting by everyone of WHAT WORKS for them. I continue to have bugs on me and excrutiating itching in my private parts intermittently. I am on the protocol, taking MMS (though not regularly enough--yesterday I vomitted when I ate food too close to taking it) and Molecula Silver. I just saw a posting about an omega-3 product called Moxxor, which is much stronger than the regular sources. From mussels in New Zealand. Since I am also having infections in my mouth and sores on my head, and when I cut myself by accident, wounds are taking a really long time to heal (never had this problem before)--I know I need something stronger for inflammatory problems. Trying to avoid Bactrim and following suggestions of John B. Just added his Digestive Aid product and Omega product. Too early to see if this will help. |
