Well I've been completely good & strict with myself for 5 months, but there comes a time when you want to make a mint chocolate chip milkshake with all the substitutes on the market.
Stevia has been suggested & even recommended because its alkalizing. But I'm hesitant because I don't understand why this does not cause problems like sugar does. I would hate to wreck all the internal cleaning I've done over a stupid craving! I just can't enjoy Stevia until I find out why it is safe.

Kal brand also does not seem to have much of an after taste.

I love stevia. The brand I buy is NuStevia. It doesn't have the bitter aftertaste. I have no reaction to it at all. I get mine 40% off from Swanson Health on line.
