THANK YOU LADY T

Hello everyone,

This is LT here and I wanted to share “10 Tips for Skin Care” while healing from Toxic Disease.

1) Let’s start the topic of “caring for the skin” by reminding you that the skin should NOT be the main focus. You do need relief and need to do maintenance while you heal and make it through each day; however, too much focus on the skin could distract from healing.

“Ant” Example

Imagine someone discovers they have an infestation of ants in their yard. They usually want to treat the grass or the surface where they see the ants. However, to reduce (or eliminate) the ant population, the strategy is to use something that will cause the queen to stop being healthy. Worker ants bring the poison deep into the ground and the ants are reduced this way - but if someone only sprays the grass - they would only have short-term results and this could waste their time.
I am not saying that all ants are bad - lol - just using this as an analogy because we know someone who had to fix their lawn. One day, they went outside and found the ground was squishy with little mounds.

They had an infestation that was going on for years and it finally surfaced fully with the spongy grass and dirt mounds.
Similarly, if you have come down with this toxic disease (Lyme, Morgellons, Fibro, etc) - your body terrain has been suffering for a while and the current infection you have has been in the works for a while - and it will take time to eradicate and heal.

So!
A mistake people make is spending TOO MUCH on skin maintenance.
Two examples:

A) My Example:
At one point when I was in the early stages of my “toxic disease” infection - I didn’t realize how much I still needed to heal in my gut because I was keeping my skin so clear. It gave me a false sense of progressing - I was swimming a lot - using soaps and scrubs - in the sauna - and it was A LOT of daily work. It was all I knew to do and in hindsight, I see that I was spending way too much time on my skin. It was impeding my getting to the source (in the gut) and my focus should have been more on using the supplements and “fully following” Mel’s protocol to rebuild my immune system and body terrain.
B) Friend example:
I know a lady who has the toxic disease - and she is all over the place as she is trying to heal. I told her about Mel’s site and she might come back later to fully try the protocol.
(I hope she does because she needs to try it for 90 days to see how much she improves) but she is still in doctor mode - and still overly focusing on treating things externally.
This lady gets the daily gunk out of her skin by using salt scrubs and tea tree and mint shampoos - but her showers are multiple times a day and very long. Her legs are also very strained from all that standing. The sad part is that the time she spends on all that skin focus is like treating the ants on top of the grass - and not considering the earth. She needs to repair her terrain and get off sugar, bread, dairy, etc. And I think she needs to take the supplements and follow Mel's protocol.

2) Brine

Now that we have established that your focus should NOT be too much on the skin - (instead you should follow the protocol as best you can, get rest, laugh, take care of yourself, etc) - but we still need to make it through a day.
We still need to deal with symptoms and manage our condition while we get better.

Rinsing with a skin brine changed my life and this is the main thing I wanted to share when I reached out to Mel to let him know I had a post idea.

Brine

Make a “skin brine” out of sea salt and baking soda to pour over the skin
You will need a small cup and a bucket or pan to catch your water.
• Mix 2 heaping tablespoons of pink salt with 2 tablespoons of fresh baking soda.
• Add a little coconut oil or avocado oil
• You can also add in one teaspoon of Diatomaceous Earth (DE)
• Mix all of that with about four to five cups of warm water.
• The water has to be warm.

Once mixed - while standing in the tub or shower - set one foot inside the pan or bucket and use the cup to scoop the mix and pour it over your body.
Let it drip down your body to cover the skin and most of this brine water will go back into the bucket (you will lose a lot - but still have enough to keep scooping and pouring the water to cover your whole body).
Keep pouring it over your body, scooping some more and pouring, until all skin is covered. Let the skin air dry and it usually keeps the skin calm and quiet for hours.
Notes:
• The 50/50 sea salt and baking soda mix you use will vary as to how much you need to add to the water. I have made the brine water too strong and too weak- and then found what worked for me.
• Make sure you always use fresh baking soda (not more than a month old because it loses potency) and always use an all-natural pink salt, Celtic salt, or natural sea salt.
• The container you use will vary. I eventually found a rectangle pan that I could stand in with both feet, but it took trying different ones out.
• I mixed large batches of the brine mix so it was ready to go (and I only added the oil later - if at all). So I mixed one cup of sea salt and one cup of baking soda (sometimes DE) and stored it in a small plastic container. Then I could scoop it right out of the container and make it even quicker to do the brine rinse after a shower. We all know this can be exhausting and so finding a way to apply the brine with ease was key.
• The brine mix can really dry the hair and so sometimes I added conditioner to the hair after pouring the brine over my scalp - other times I didn’t do the hair (as I got healthier) and I only used it behind the ears, face, and on the rest of the body.

3) MMS/DE/DMSO Foot Soaks

Another WONDERFUL suggestion (especially for the heavily infected times) - is to do an MMS/DE/DMSO foot soak.
Get a foot soaking tub or use a large bucket so that your feet and ankles will be immersed in the soaking water.

• Make your MMS (water purifier). I usually used 20 drops of MMS so the water had a very faint yellow to it.
• Add 3 to 4 drops of DMSO (a little goes a long way)
• Add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
• Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of Diatomaceous Earth (DE)
• Fill your soaking container with warm water and add the above ingredients together.
• Once mixed - sit down and put both feet into the water mix for 20 about minutes or more.
• You can also apply this water to the entire body (like the brine). A great way to benefit from this foot soak is to put down two towels around where you are sitting and then while the feet are soaking - splash some water on your legs, face, and arms - and as much of your body as possible - with the water mix.
• I sometimes did this foot soak outside and used a cup to pour the water to cover all of my body. I wore a dark tank top and shorts so it was okay to get wet.
• I still remember how refreshing it was to place my feet in that soaking mix - let my ankles get covered - and then cup my hands to splash my face - and then body! The refreshing water (with MMS and a touch of oil) hitting my skin helped to calm it while this also woke up my soul and just felt refreshing. It helped me to smile and exhale with freshness - which is what we need while managing symptoms of a toxic disease.

Notes:
• This beautiful soaking mix of MMS, DE, DMSO, and coconut oil will quiet the skin and get rid of certain things in the top layer of the skin.
• It can provide calming relief for the entire day or even just a few hours. It depends on what you have going on.
• Experiment with how much MMS you use - because it is external you can use more than when drinking it - but you don’t want to waste it either.
• Also, experiment with how long you do this foot soak (and body rinse). I spent about 30 minutes. Sometimes even a ten-minute foot soak in this mix had great effects. Sometimes I spent an hour and a few times I made a second batch of fresh MMS water and did two soaks and body pours back to back - but usually, just 30 minutes was enough.
• This can also help the inside of the body because we absorb through the feet (and a bit through the skin, esp with a drop or two of DMSO added).
• I began to enjoy the foot soak time because I sat and felt so good - you can read, get on your phone, write, or just gaze around and be still.
• I also used the two towels to wipe up the floor - I walked around with my feet on the wet towels and it made the floor sparkle!

4) Aloe Vera

Fresh Aloe
I am not sure how much is in the forum on aloe vera, but if you are looking for another calming and healing item to help the skin - get some fresh aloe vera.
We have stores in our area that sell large, separate aloe leaves and I would slice pieces off and apply the inner gel all over the body. A one-inch piece was what worked for me.
I also ate some of the white aloe flesh - but it took me a while to do that.
I still use fresh aloe for many things as it is great for the face and hair.

Hand Sanitizer with Aloe
I first discovered aloe’s effectiveness for helping the skin when I bought hand sanitizer that was mostly aloe vera. This was before the pandemic brought all these new varieties of hand sanitizer (many with chemicals).
What did the aloe hand sanitizer do for my skin?
It helped remove brown spots and those little shady areas.
It was discovered accidentally.
One day, I finished the brine rinse and so my body was a little salty and calm. I was having a phone conversation with someone and began using the sanitizer on my hands and then some got on my lower leg. I rubbed it in and noticed that It brought out so much gunk. Then I noticed that this brown spot I had on my calf was getting smaller. It eventually went away and other little brown spots became faint.
I also used the aloe hand sanitizer on hands, wrists, toes, forearms, etc. It seemed to pull out stuff and provide relief and aid healing.
So consider getting some hand sanitizer with aloe and ethyl alcohol (not a lot of chemicals). The two brands I like best: “Raw Sugar” from Target - and “Veritas Farms” from Wegman’s (or online). Aldi’s had a good aloe one for a while too.

5) Soap
The forums here mention a lot of soaps. I will list the ones that worked the best for me.

Top Three Soaps
- NEXT brand anti-bacterial soap - made in Mexico and sold at CVS in the state of Florida for $1.49 - This soap is fantastic for calming the skin.
- Sulfur Soap - the forum mentions this a lot so I won’t go into detail - but sulfur soap can be left on the skin (if you don’t mind the smell) and can provide so much help. When sick with this, if I had to stay in a hotel - I slept with a little sulfur soap in my hair and on my ankles. The reason for this is because I think when someone is heavily infected with this toxic disease (we all have different confections) but there are times when your body is an “attractant” and some soaps combat that.
I still use sulfur soap directly on my calves and ankles if I go on a day hike or walk in the woods. It is a natural bug deterrent.

- DIAL brand anti-bacterial soap - I shop at an outlet store near our town and they have discontinued items (not recalled - just canceled). I found some DIAL soap that had moisturizers and other ingredients that seemed to “mop up” the skin. It left the skin feeling so calm. I never tried any more DIAL options because I was better and didn’t need to experiment with products anymore. But I know someone that found DIAL foam soap to work great for the feet and arms.

Other Helpful Soaps

• I tried more than 100 different types of soaps and body washes. Many had value but the top three were most effective.
• Dr. Bronners - of course - (love this for laundry too),
• I tried a bar of pumice soap (it had real “pumice” blended right in) but it was just “okay” -
• Caress bar soap was nice to use after washing twice with “NEXT” soap - it added a nice softness to the skin.
• I suggest having some lavender products around all the time (soap/body wash, shampoo, conditioner) because it relaxes the nervous system, and on some stressful days - using lavender products offered much comfort.
• Hemp soaps, oatmeal blends, even tried all of Jason’s brand body washes including the “Apple Cider Vinegar - and just so-so with results.
• Some soaps with essential oils had value (but not like the top thee) - I tried rosemary blends, clove, etc.
• You can add essential oils to current products - but be careful with essential oils because not all can easily go on the skin. Most need a carrier oil and too much of certain oils can irritate the skin. Walmart sells a bottle of oregano oil capsules (under five dollars) and I would open a capsule (it had a good amount of carrier oil) and that helped a tough spot on the bridge of my nose. However, later - Kleen Green worked way better for the nose and face.

6) Bentonite Clay
Before I discovered how to make the salt brine and before the MMS foot soak (and body splash) - I used bentonite clay to cover my body. I bought the clay powder (Aztec brand - under $10) and mixed it with vinegar and then covered the whole body. I worked from home so I put clay on two or three times a day - (imagine me walking around the house with a thin layer of clay! So funny) - but it was the only thing I knew to do and I wore certain clothes that could be washed easily. That was in the very early days when I didn’t know what was going on. It was scary and it was before I started to heal.
I would put on the clay and then usually had a couple of hours of relief (and anyone in the early stages with the itchy, stingy, awful feeling will know what it means to have even one hour of needed relief). But once the clay dried fully - the skin would feel fierce! So I would have to rinse and apply again.
The clay provided short-term relief and prevented sores and scarring, but it was not ideal because it took SO much work to apply and I had to walk around with a thin layer of clay - and then it was fierce when dried out.
So discovering the brine solution (and the MMS soak, the aloe, and key soaps) was life-changing - but I was also taking Mel’s protocol more seriously (sigh - it takes some of us longer than others to fully believe that this protocol works).

Sonnes #7 bentonite clay is another option. This is a liquid clay and it worked great for sensitive areas of the body. It can also be used in the nostrils for help there)- but the powder clay with vinegar was my go-to for overall skin help early on.

7) Body Scrubs

Borax Scrub
A light application of borax to the entire body can provide a nice relaxing feeling and quiet the skin. Do not do this too many days in a row because it can be abrasive. But once every week or so is ideal.

I had my husband help apply the borax to my back, but you can apply it yourself while standing or sitting.
Place the borax in your hands and gently apply it to all of the skin - use light circular motions as you apply it.
This borax application also exfoliates dead skin and can stimulate healing because the skin is our largest organ and connects to immune function.

Note - another hack using borax is to combine it with peroxide to stop a sore from growing.
If I saw a little mound (or sore) starting to form on my face or arm, I would lightly dab on some fresh peroxide. (Be careful because peroxide can wear down the skin and fingers - it is great for an oral rinse - but on the body, it will leave the skin vulnerable once it dries - so that is where the borax helps.
• After the peroxide is applied to the spot or little area (use a cotton swab) - Let it sit for a minute and maybe apply some more peroxide - just to the area or spot.
• Then, right on top of the peroxide, put on some borax and press it in. Just pat it down. It lightly dries and the borax eventually falls off - the area is usually more than halfway dried up after the first time.
• Repeat as needed because the borax neutralizes the peroxide.

Baking Soda Scrub

This is similar to the borax scrub - simply apply a light application of fresh baking soda (not more than 30 days old) and apply it with a light circular motion. Leave on the body and get dressed as it does not hurt your clothes. The baking soda also helps alkalize the skin and brings great relief.

Sea Salt Scrubs

I only used salt scrubs a few times and had okay results, but many folks I know had better results with store-bought salt scrubs. (Beware of brands that have chemicals or ones that are over-priced.)
Body scrubs can be powerful and the lady I mentioned at the start of this post (who is spending too much time on treating the skin while trying to cure this), well she uses sea salt scrubs (from Big Lots or the mall) and it does keep her skin clear and quiet. However, remember that the main goal here is not just to have clear and quiet skin - the goal is to heal and that is done by working the protocol as Mel and others have outlined - otherwise you will keep delaying your full healing.

Activated Charcoal

The scrubs that have activated charcoal did not do much for me (neither did the charcoal toothpaste). However, having activated charcoal in your home is essential. We have a bag of loose charcoal powder and a bottle of capsules.
I tried using the charcoal on the skin and it helped, but it clung to any red spots and that was difficult to remove. Having “black” on the arms just looks bad (even if it is not bad).
So the best way to use activated charcoal is for trouble spots.
One day, a little red mound started and it was not a time I could use the little mix of peroxide and borax. So I opened a capsule of activated charcoal and dabbed it on the spot and let it dry. It reduced the spot by 80% almost instantly.
Recently, someone I know had a mole on their back and it shrunk by 90% by using charcoal on it for a month.
Activated charcoal is used to treat spider bites, stings, etc.
Activated Charcoal helps clean the inside nostrils, which can then be rinsed with the Neil Med salt and soda rinse.
Sometimes an upset stomach can benefit from the charcoal - but if you take a capsule, it needs to be at least two hours away from taking other supplements.

8) Kleen Green
The forum is packed with information on “Kleen Green” and there is a discount that the owner of this company so generously offers to Mel’s group.
If you want to get better - you need to make sure you have Kleen Green in your toolkit. It helps in ways that NO OTHER PRODUCT CAN!
It is gentle enough to use on sensitive body areas and breaks the life cycle of pathogens.
Kleen Green also cleans the air as you use it and that offers more perks for those afflicted.
We still use Kleen Green for pets, around the house, and for skin care.
If you are having really bad symptoms right now, one way to consider using Kleen Green is to make some in a small bowl. Mix the concentrate with six parts water (the bottle says seven, but for this, I liked six) - and then use your hands to apply it to the entire body after you towel dry. Your pores will be open and the Kleen Green will sink in. Try to do this once a day (not right after you use the brine or other things) or twice a day if not too exhausted. Experiment and see what you need.
The company suggests that folks use Kleen Green for 21 days to eradicate certain skin ailments.
-
9) Baths
I know some folks use soaking baths to help calm the skin.
• An MMS bath (with a little DE and a little bit of coconut oil) is a calming option.
• Some folks put one teaspoon of “pool shock” into the bathtub and then soak with that (this is also listed in the MMS book as an idea).
• Epsom salt baths can calm the skin and quiet the mind - and give you some needed mag.

10) Dry Sauna & Red Light Therapy

While I think that the dry sauna and red light therapy have benefits to the mind and cells of the body (and also help you sweat, which has many perks) I did not see huge results after using either of these.

Dry Sauna
At one point - I stayed in the sauna every day for 60 to 70 minutes (I did this forty days in a row and did not see a big change with the underlying infection - because healing comes with the full protocol - and not just purging the skin).

Red Light Therapy
We converted a closet into a red light therapy sauna. We insulated the walls with special insulation sheets from Amazon. Then set up the red light bulbs and followed proper safety standards. My spouse still uses this every day. However. this didn’t bring much help for me and it sure didn't offer a cure - it did allow some purging - but nothing drastic (not like the brine or MMS foot soak).
_
Okay - those are my tips.
A few closing reminders
• Remember to stay away from soaps and scrubs that have chemicals and heavy perfumes.
• Be encouraged because people DO heal.
• Mel’s Protocol works - how long it takes depends on many factors (like how long you were infected before you started the protocol, how consistent you are with diet and supplements, if you work, how you process stress,) - but remember that those who follow the protocol and keep at it - they get well.
• Remember the tips I shared here are for educational purposes. These came from reading and learning - then trying new things and seeing what God was showing me.
• God will show you what you need to do and so use this time to become closer to Him and let your walk flourish.
• Remember that another perk of healing from this toxic disease is that you end up with a very healthy body. That is worth the nightmare. To feel empowered and to have gut health is a gift we get from this. It also means we will be disease resistant and just healthier with a better quality of life as we age. That is worth smiling about. I just went to the funeral of a 49-year-old and she died of cancer. I think if she had suffered from a toxic disease and had to heal (using Mel’s Protocol) well I think she might have also addressed pre-cancer cells. Because many of us feel that before we became sick (with this toxic disease) we were likely on a path toward cancer. So even though this is a nightmare right now - and it comes with setbacks - it can be your gift. And when the costs of the protocol and loss of work felt heavy, cancer treatments are expensive and caused many folks to lose everything (money and then sometimes their life).
• Remember the analogy about the ants. If we have an ant problem and only focus on the top grass, then we will never get to the root cause. Similarly, with healing from toxic disease, if you only keep trying to clear the skin, then you will NOT get to the core issues and root causes (which is an interplay between gut health and the body’s terrain). Mel’s protocol helps address these CORE issues- and so in time, your skin will begin to stay clear on its own!!

Take care, LT

Morgellons - Lady T this Saturday 6/13/22 Discussing Her “10 Tips for Skin Care” while healing from Toxic Disease.

Hello Everyone,

This is Lady T here.

I was online today getting website info for the project Mel and are working on. I realized there were some comments here - and so I will reply to them and then I also wanted to send a note to everyone. :)
--
First, thanks to those who left me a note.

Gail, thanks for sharing your story. I am glad the Neem Oil is working for you. I had some of neem oil soap early on, and Neem spray, and found it was nice to change things up - but nothing beats the WPS (as Mel always reminds us) because the spray bottle of WPS that he suggests is really effective.
Also, Gail, regarding your drinking the lemon water - I am STILL amazed at how a glass of lemon water can provide so much balance to the body. Lemon alkalizes the body and also offers cell support from Vitamin C and Bioflavonoids (and I try to keep lemons around as much as possible) it leaves us feeling so well. Once in a while I even have the lemon water and teaspoon of baking soda (but it was never around supplement time or when taking the WPS).
--
Robin, thanks for your note and your encouragement - your words brought a smile and it was my pleasure to share. God is so good (all the time) and it truly is awesome to share when I can.
--
Tea, appreciate your note here too and love how you reminded everyone of this:
"It’s not if we will, it’s when…. When we get better…"
Amen to that! XX
--

That leads in to my note to everyone.

I hope that you are all having a nice start to Fall 2022 and that you are finding ways to encourage yourself - especially if it is a challenging week or a time with herxing or fatigue. Be encouraged! Do not give up hope and find what you need to stay the course.
--
Remember to stick to the protocol!
-- Smile more (because even a forced smile can reduce the stress hormones that feed toxic disease symptoms)
-- Maybe sing or whistle (like Mel does)
-- Take five minutes to do square breathing (or just practice deep breathing techniques)
-- Be sure to drop the frown and release any spirit of heaviness with praise and with a smile.
-- Fill your environment with positive vibes. I listen to a variety of Christian radio stations (BBN, WPER, Z88.3 - all available with apps or online) and it constantly floods my environment with a good vibe (and sometimes gives me a few minutes of empowering worship time) - and the content of the ongoing music (and mini sermons or bible verses) feeds my inner spirit and that is crucial for strength and wellness (not just in healing - but in living a successful life that involves joy and thriving).
-- Remember that you do NOT go into this day alone. God is in us and with us - and He will make the crooked way straight. We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.
-- And embrace the community here because we are better together.

Okay - that is all from me today.
Thanks again for having me host a call with Mel - and I look forward to doing another call sometime.

Take care and God bless
