Sorry for slow response. So to answer your question, it is best to cut the apples into spoon size pieces before boiling them down. Then you can store them in the fridge and eat them throughout the week. It only takes two or three spoonfuls to do the job. But feel free to eat as much as you like. I hope this helps.
