Dear Friends, As most of you know, Mel's housing situation has become difficult for him over the last few years. His rent has increased by double digit percentages the last three times his lease has come up for renewal. and somehow he's managed to just barely make it and keep a roof over his head. In June he requested that his rent remain the same this year, and within three days he received a notice saying his lease would not be renewed. He thought the rent increase was a problem...but that doesn't even hold a candle to the kinds of difficulties he's encountered in trying to find a new place to live. I talk to Mel multiple times a day and know first hand what he's going through. The housing market in Reno is unbelievable. It is a sellers and landlord's market for property owners and there's extreme competition among those looking for a place to live. So, besides it being difficult to even find a place to live, this has caused a significant increase in rental prices. Mel is scouring the internet, making phone calls, and through the kindness of two dear friends, getting rides to look at places that turn out to be uninhabitable, already taken, or renting for a much higher price than advertised. He's figured out what he can afford to stretch his budget to in order to find a place to live, but the moving expenses are becoming a hurdle he can't navigate unless he gets some help. Besides moving costs, he will need to have a deposit equal to the first month's rent. In the meantime, he still has to cough up the sky high rent for where he currently lives. Not having a car is an issue...and he's found a way to purchase a small used car with zero down, but is hesitant to do so until he can find out how much he will pay in rent. Right now he can walk to the grocery store, but that may not be an option in a new place to live, so the need for a car will likely become a necessity. He's tried to generate money by having a garage sale, and posted an advertisement for this on his apartment community bulletin board that gets sent out as an email to all tenants. No one came. He has to be out of his current apartment by September 18th, so the need to find a new home soon is getting serious. The house hunt is exhausting and discouraging, and Mel is doing all of this this while continuing to put in the 40 plus hours a week it takes to help us all. Please join me in praying for Mel to find a suitable place to live and soon. Please also look into your hearts and ask yourself where you'd be without the kindness and generosity of this wonderful man who has helped all of us. Please help Mel by making a donation. If many donate, Mel will be able to make this transition and then continue to help the masses who come to him in need daily. Love, Karen

Hi Marie, I so agree with you. I think $10 toward Mel's home move fund is a great idea and completely do able by all here. Mel has done so much for people on this forum currently and so many who are not here anymore because they've been healed. Let's do this. Let's help Mel move. If we help him, we are also helping ourselves.....right? As selfish as that sounds, it is the truth. If we think about it.....we are nothing without him. Sometimes, as hard as it gets, I keep my promise (that I made to myself), to give to Mel every month. Maybe it's something we should all do. Blessings to all Vanessa

Hi Everyone, Mel does not like to ask but the truth is - Mel needs our help. I pray that all warriors, especially those who have been cured, find it in their hearts to donate to Mel so that he can find a place to live and continue to help others going through this journey. Every little bit counts. You can help in one of two ways or both if you so choose. If you are still fighting M, you may want to consider purchasing one on one coaching. Warriors that are healed and even those still in the battle, can choose to donate to Mel's Go Fund Me account. Either one or both of these options would be greatly appreciated. A few days ago, I purchased coaching which is so important to me and helps Mel financially as well. So, this is a win-win situation. I will continue to donate once I am well in gratitude for the kindness and guidance I received. If you already well and enjoying a M free life again, please, please, consider donating to Mel. He was there for you when needed him. I and many others to come would like to see him continue his work of fighting this disease and returning lives again, but with this financial burden it will be difficult or even impossible. Thank you and God Bless, Donna
