Dear Karen,

Thanks for your lovely uplifting post :-). You are so right we need to have Gratitude, Faith and Hope. Especially when dealing with Toxic Disease and other difficulties it's imperative we also hold on to the good we have in our lives.

For a start we community members are no longer alone in dealing with this disease. We have support, we have understanding, we have others in the same boat. We also have the knowledge needed to heal and medicines and healthy food, clean water. We are fortunate for all of that!

Yes,sure we can be having a hard time health wise and it sure ain't easy, but we are being helped . Also we all have a roof over our heads,a place to wash, cook, sleep, rest, recuperate. It is tough with rising prices for food / electric but we are sensible souls and we will get through all the challenges. That's what we do, we ain't called warriors for nothing :-).

When I think of the poor souls in the Ukraine who are living in conditions similar to what people lived through during World War 2, it makes me realise how lucky we are.

It's so important to be grateful for the basic amenities that we do have. And for the fact that we are not in a war torn country .And we are not homeless either, I cannot imagine sleeping out in the cold. Small mercies, small blessings are gifts. And we have full stomachs too. I'm so glad we aren't hungry.

We must always hold onto Faith and Hope for better health and better times for ourselves and for the world at large.

Hang in there this Christmas Time, all here who are struggling with their health. Just know that with hard work, this too shall pass. Give yourselves a Big Hug!!!

God Bless and Merry Christmas when it comes,
Chrissie and Holly (where's Ivy?)
