Jamie 7/9/2019 9:35:29 AM | Hello, Eric! I just wanted to welcome you to the forum! It was nice to hear you on both the Saturday and Sunday calls. It was unfortunate that you had to cut out a wee bit early on Sunday because there were a number of people who had special messages and information for you! You can always listen to the part of the call that you missed on Saturdays, But Sundays call is not Recorded. I imagine you will be receiving a few posts. I know Anna, in particular, had a really cool story for you that you really might like to hear! You sound strong and confident! If I can give you one unsolicited piece of advice it would be to listen to Mel. He has been doing this for over a decade, and he really knows what he is talking about. Plus, unlike most medical doctors, if he doesn’t know something, he will be relentless about getting the information from someone with particular expertise who does. I look forward to future calls with you and also more posts! Jamie

If we eat a healthy and balanced diet our bodies will naturally be slightly alkaline. We are omnivores and designed to eat a wide variety of foods in order to acquire all the vast array of nutrients needed for our bodies to thrive. While a diet of mostly meat is definitely acidifying, occasional small servings of high quality meat are not. Vegetables, salads, fruits, nuts, seeds etc. should form the bulk of our diet but the high quality protein in eggs and meats are helpful in moderation.
Ellie 7/6/2019 11:28:42 AM | Hello again Eric, I wish to add to my previous statements regarding alkalinity. Apple cider vinegar makes the body alkaline, I take capsules a few times each day. I have a great cook book called Ten Talents, recently out of print but can still be purchased on used book sites like Alibris, Abe Books and Amazon. It has a number of tables about food, including acid forming foods and alkaline forming foods. The recipes are excellent, easy and delicious. I forgot to mention in my first post that dairy and eggs are acid forming foods.
