| Most recent adventure with food was almost oatmeal that is nothing like what expected. And I finally remembered to take a picture. Looks like poop but I promise it's good.
Applesauce is the lead player. Then CRUNCHY almond butter is the protein back up. Add in coconut milk and cinnamon. I also added cardamon. Nutmeg is a good option too.
Toss in some blueberries or any fruit and chopped nuts. Great breakfast or snack.
May not be standing ovation or for picky people. Must be the looks. We do eat with our eyes first. It's real food, paleo friendly and protocol friendly (I hope) for those who appreciate options.
Here's the recipe:
1-1/2 cups applesauce 4 TBS crunchy raw almond butter 2 TBS coconut milk, full fat canned 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp cardamon (or nutmeg)
Combine all ingredients over medium heat, stirring often until all is combined. Then add any fruit and nuts. Enjoy!
