Dear All, June's full moon is nicknamed, 'the Strawberry Moon,' not because it turns pink or tastes like desert (sorry Mel:-)),but because it marks the time of the year when wild strawberries were traditionally ready to harvest. The Strawberry Moon rises on the 29th June 2026, bringing with it a little celestial surprise. It is also a micromoon, the third micromoon of 2026. A micromoon happens when the full moon occurs close to apogee, the point in the moon's orbit where it is furthest from earth. Therefore the moon will appear slightly smaller and a little less dazzling than a typical full moon, as if it has chosen the scenic route through space before arriving. Think of it as the moon's quieter more laid-back cousin:-). It will still be glowing in the night sky, just a little further away! It will still be the star of the night show and summers opening act! Full moons have long been associated with interacting with the body's natural rhythms. Many people living with Morgellons report feeling changes in their body during a full moon. This includes the moon affecting the parasitic component of our disease ( it ramps up, symptoms get worse) and they report shifts in sleep, fatigue, pain and inflammation. Therefore we advocate that your dosing schedule for WPS be changed during this time. We recommend you use a split dosing approach for your WPS. For 3 days before and 3 days after the full moon peak you divide your WPS dose in thirds. Irrespective of how many drops you are taking, take drops at 10.30 am, 3.30 pm and at bedtime as usual. Allow the usual 2 hours between your WPS and your Protocol supplements. You can return to your regular WPS dosing cycle, after the six day cycle of the full moon(3 days before and 3 days after). Best wishes, Chrissie | |||
