My mother, both brothers and a sister in law were teachers. I'm sure there are many stories they could tell and did but for the life of me, I can't remember them. Wished I could.
I do remember the kind things the other teachers did for me when I was ill and in high school 1956-60.
I know things are very different today.
I just remembered a story my mother told. They had show and tell back then. My mother said a little boy got up and said,
my mother hit my dad over the head with a frying pan" well maybe it wasn't so funny as he could have gotten hurt but I guess he wasn't hurt.
