Linda...the song is beautiful. It is focused on the most powerful concept we can access...God's love for us and the idea that He is here with us every step of the way.
Tina...your post made me cry. I was in Buccees when Mel called and read me your post and had to walk over in a part of the store with no people because I was starting to get tears in my eyes. Your words made it so clear...positivity is something we all need...and it made me so happy that my words could help in any way.
The Bible is filled with positive ideas...the biggest of which is the overall message of the New Testament which is all about Jesus' message of love.
What a comfort this is for those of us going through this ordeal.
Here are some Bible verses I like:
Proverbs 4:23 - "Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life."
Romans 12:12 - "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer."
And my very favorite is:
Proverbs 17:22 - "A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."
All of the above is even more evidence of the importance of staying positive.
Thus...positivity is another vital piece to the "sum of the parts."
When we're serious about getting well, we employ ALL elements of the "sum of the parts."
So...find some uplifting music...get yourself organized...and relax in the idea that you will get there like so many others!
Love,
Karen
